All good things have a beginning and an end, unfortunately this little article signifies the end of another wonderful contest made possible by the folks at Neuros, hosted by yours truly at QJ. In any great battle there are winners and losers, unfortunately there could only be one winner this time around, and his name (or digital name) is... Califrag! Congrats dude, well played and thanks to everyone for entering. Califrag's already been contacted for the deets on his shipping info and Neuros will make sure his pleasure bundle finds its way to him post haste. Again, thanks to everyone for entering, don't lose hope if you didn't win, you never know when another contest will just pop up out of nowhere! It's also worth noting that Amazon currently has the Recorder 2 on sale for $99, $30 bucks off the regular price! Christmas Cheer and Yuletidey lurv from the guys at Neuros and the entire QJ network staff. |

So you've been a little naughty this year, maybe Santa isn't exactly thrilled, maybe the red-suited fatman won't be zipping down your chimney to shower you with gifts and yuletide joy, never fear, QJ and Neuros have got your back. You might be thinking we've already given away a few of these, but you'd be wrong (ish) this is a whole different beast. What the guys at Neuros are offering today is the advanced model of the regular Neuros Recorder 2, this is the Neuros Recorder 2 Plus! What that means is that you'll be able to use this swanky little device not only with your PSP, but with your iPod and those new fangled smartphone devices all the cool kids are carting around these days. Click here to find out more about the Recorder 2 Plus. If you happened across our last little shindig where we gave a Recorder 2 away, you'll know the drill, it couldn't be simpler. All you have to do is reply in the comments below while signed into QJ with your site username (register if you haven't got one), once we get all entries, we'll shake the box round, have Jake cut a fancy ribbon and pull a lucky name from the ether. Entries will be accepted until Friday 15th at 9pm CST, so be sure to reply before then. Contest Rules:
As always in these sorts of things, we wish y'all the best of luck. |

That's right folks, we're a little later with the results than we (or you no doubt) would have liked, but we've got 'em at last. Following up on our Neuros Video Recorder 2 contest just last week, we're giving you the winner... NoobSlayer09 wins!! An email's winging it's way to you at this very moment NoobSlayer, all you need to do is reply to the email with your mailing information, which includes your full name and address, and you'll be hippin' and a hoppin' to the beat of TV on your PSP in no time at all! (Please don't post your info in the comments below though :) One last time, Congrats on the win dude! For everyone else who didn't win, don't worry you'll get your chance and sooner than you might think... FYI, it appears the NVR2 is once again on sale at Amazon.com for $99, so if ya didn't win, you can still pick one up at a discounted price by clicking the link below. |

Those fine fellas at Neuros are at it again! Turn your back for half a micron and they're offering up yet another great deal. We've already got together with them to give away Recorder 2's in the past, the good news is that it doesn't look like we'll be breaking that tradition any time soon. Put simply, Neuros is giving yet another one of their well reviewed Recorders away to one lucky QJ reader. No contests, no quizzes, no hoops to jump through this time, all you have to do is reply in the comments section below with your registered QJ username for entry, we'll hold a raffle, pull a winner out of the hat and BAM! A Neuros Recorder 2 will be winging its way to you before you can say "John Travolta sucked the life out of Battlefield Earth but Barry Pepper and Forrest Whitaker weren't that bad in it"... or something. Be sure to look over ye olde roolz though:
EDIT: To clarify, you DON'T need to post your QJ forum name, or your email address, we'll be using the name you reply with in the comments below as long as it's a registered QJ site username. |

Well folks, what began a week ago is officially drawing to a close, after all the entries were tallied (a huuuuge massive ton of entries, thanks to all who sent in answers) and counted, we finally have a winner. A big thanks to the folks at Neuros, they've been really kind sponsoring two wonderful contests in a row with sucessively better prizes. Anyway, I suppose it's time to get to the meat of the matter and let you guys know who the winner is eh? Well, you'll have to find out just who won by clicking to check out the full article below. Also come on in and see pictures sent in by our previous contest winner! |

There's nothing more attractive to your garden variety gamer than free stuff (or a bag of stale Dorito's) so we got together with the people over at Neuros (the guys who made possible our recently concluded NVR2 contest) and hammered out yet another contest offer, a sequel if you will. Like all sequels this one's bigger, badder, leaner, meaner and yes, even greener. The prizes (yup, plural) are even more attractive and you have to do even less work than last time to get to them, uh-huh, answering these questions requires absolutely no creativity or physical exertion whatsoever, as a matter of fact the contest actually relies on your ability to loaf around watching TV and playing videogames all day long. What's on offer this time around? Well, this is a PSP site so one lucky winner will walk away with these goodies:

For those of you who either never got to play the original on the Sega Master System, or are simply too young to know much about it, After Burner was the shizzle. Designed by legendary videogame designer Yu Suzuki (of Shen Mue, Outrun and Virtua Fighter fame) the game was an action packed romp through fire filled skies of death, doom and destruction, this pretty much was Ace Combat before there was Ace Combat, it was that damn good. The new game is called After Burner: Black Falcon, and reportedly sees players sniffing out the origins of a mercenary group called "Black Falcon", who've been naughty and stole 13 top secret aircraft. The game promises to offer an extensive single player campaign along with 19 officially licensed customisable aircraft and competitive and co-operative Wi-Fi multiplayer modes. Even more exciting is the fact that the game is being worked on by Planet Moon studios, the guys who brought us the excellent MDK, Giants: Citizen Kabuto, Armed And Dangerous and (unfortunately) Infected on the PSP. Word is the game's set to land PSP-side in the spring of 2007. NOTE: Images above are from the Sega Master System game! |

A Medal of Honor on the PSP is long overdue, good thing we've got Heroes on the way. Medal of Honor Heroes is a brand new first person shooter tailor made for the PSP console by the fine folks at EA. Boasting up to 30 players in wireless deathmatch via Wi-Fi, the game promises to push the PSP to its absolute limits. The latest screens show a variety of pretty darn impressive environments with a fair amount of detail and an amazing draw distance. Don't take my word for it though: |

Just a few weeks ago we got together with the fine folks at Neuros to set up a simple caption competition that would allow one lucky QJ reader to win a Neuros VR unit for themselves. Shortly thereafter we were buried in a veritable flood of entries that we painstakingly (and I mean painstakingly) picked our way through in order to come to three finalists, which you guys voted for. On Friday night (or is that Saturday morning?) the the polls closed and the votes were tallied over the weekend. Seems like we had no clear winner and no one won, so we keep the Recorder for ourselves... I keeeed, I keeed! In actual fact we had a very clear cut winner who smoked the competition with his wit and creativity, none other than Daniel, who submitted this delightful little number: Congrats Daniel, we'll be contacting you shortly for your information and you can bet your brand spanking new Neuros Video Recorder 2 unit will be winging its way to you in no time courtesy of the dudes and dudettes at Neuros. From us all at QJ labs, thanks to all who entered and all those who voted. Till the next comp! |
