Being one of the more anticipated games to be released for the PSP, Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters has had a good deal of screenshots released recently. Today we have here another five for you! The game does not come out until early 2007; hopefully, these screens help the wait. There are rumors of the game actually having a 4 player multiplayer WiFi mode, which if realized, will totally tip the scales of awesomeness! The graphics look great and the game play is supposed to be up to par with the earlier titles in the franchise. If you would like to find out more about this upcoming game read Christopher C.'s article [Here]. Without further delay, here are the screens for you.

Recently you have been hearing about work being done on getting out an easy to install modchip, that would allow you to run multiple firmware versions on the same PSP, and probably do many more things. Such modchip has yet to be released though, and PSP fanboys are growing anxious. As a solution to this problem, they made their own! Here we have four successful attempts to run multiple firmware versions on the same PSP. Now they aren't as pretty as the modchip that will be eventually released, but these bad boys still work, and also gave a sense of accomplishment.

What
a suprise, yet another Tony Hawk game. They just don't ever seem to
end, huh? Well the next installment in this immortal franchise is Tony
Hawk Project 8. It will be a cross platform game, obviously different
game play from the PSP to the Xbox 360. This time around a whole new
physics system will be issued, including a new grinding system. Also
in Tony Hawk Project 8 there will be more challenges than in any other version before. A photographer/video recorder element
will be added as well. Finally pedestrians will have a part in the
game - isn't that what we've all been waiting for? (No really, I'm asking) You will have to preform tricks to impress the crowd, to build
up respect, and not get punched in the gut. You can check out some of the concept art below. The release date is right now set
for Fall 2006.

Yup, a new build for the much talked about Nintendo 64 emulator has just been released moments ago. StrmnNrmn has released the official Daedalus R5 Emulator with many improvements. Here is the change log from StrmnNrmn himself. [+] New DynaRec engine, resulting in significant performance improvements [+] New front end - ability to toggle a couple of options (more to come) [+] Save game first pass (eeprom4k, eeprom16k and mempak) [^] Various interpreting engine optimisations [~] Use .png file format for background images, save ~380KB [~] Stripped out unnecessary code, save ~250KB From the looks of it, there seems to be about a 2-3 frames per second of improvement on average. Not to shabby if you ask me. This is yet again a huge movement in the Nintendo 64 emulation scene. Try out your favorite Roms and tell them how they work, if they work and the frames per second. StrmnNrmn once again thinking about his fans has released two different versions of his excellent emulator, and the source if you want to fiddle around with it. Thanks for the brilliant emulator StrmnNrmn. Download: [Source Code] Download: [Version 1.5] Download: [Version 1.0] |
