The performance of Rockstar Games' Grand Theft Auto IV (PlayStation 3, Xbox 360) back in the prime of springtime was a grand turnout for both the developers and publisher Take-Two Interactive. For all it's million selling feats though, it couldn't improve the sales of either Microsoft or Sony's next generation consoles. And as you can guess, the Nintendo Wii reigns supreme over all in hardware sales by as much as 3 to 1. Get the facts straight at the full story. |

Konami Digital Entertainment, or rather its division in America, rocked San Francisco with their blow-by-blow game lineup revelation kicking off from 2008 onwards. Of course, there were the all-time favorites: Metal Gear Solid, Castlevania, Dance Dance Revolution, and Silent Hill. However, these weren't all the games that the publisher highlighted at the event. Find out the rest that wouldn't fit in our title at the full story. |

Okay, so Sony Computer Entertainment may have already delivered B-Boy to PlayStation Portables, but that was two years ago, and the initial release was targeted at PAL PSPs only. So when news from the New York Comic Con takes to the news waves and says that the rhythm-based break-dancing game will be coming to the U.S., it catches our attention. More at the full story. |

Look out - it's a classic one-two! Interplay Entertainment has just wired in the news that it is finally pushing through with the development of a new Earthworm Jim title, and this one's got official support from the original creator himself. Douglas TenNapel, the mind behind the run-and-gun worm in a robotic suit, will be collaborating with Interplay to jump start the video game, TV, and toy legacy that was Earthworm Jim. Just a little bit more to reveal at the full story. |

Now this isn't a homebrew application per se, but coder Yan2Yan's mini library could help other homebrew developers toy around with time functions on the Sony PSP. This would include getting time lapsed in the smaller units of chrono-measurement - all the way down to milliseconds - as well as attempt stopwatch functions with pause and resume functions. Not more than a week after the merging of code from both pspME and PSPKVM, homebrew coders sleepper and M@x roll out a minor upgrade to the Java KVM for the Sony PlayStation Portable. And though PSPKVM version 0.3.1 sports just a few fixes, it does increase system stability, hike graphical performance upwards, and even add a new feature support.
