Over at online retail store Amazon, we noticed that the price for Burnout Dominator has already dropped to US$ 19.99. The title has only been available for a couple of months now, so this is a great thing for PSP owners who have yet to get a copy. It's never been this cheaper to do some Kah Ra Shin.More retail outlets apart from Amazon have also done the same. You can currently purchase Burnout Dominator for the same price at Gamestop, Circuit City, and even at Best Buy. If you happen to find other listings, kindly inform the rest of us through the comments section below. Burnout Dominator is another entry to the Burnout franchise from Electronic Arts (EA). Compared to its predecessor, Dominator has retained most features fans have loved and grown accustomed to in the first game. The ones we really enjoyed were the Maniac Mode as well as the Burnout combos and Boost chaining. |

UK's still on the warpath against irresponsible gaming, it seems. This time, it's not a game that's being condemned by British authorities, but rather, an advertisement for one of the games. The ad in question, pictured above, is for Burnout Dominator, a racing game for the PSP, and it's under fire from the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) for being irresponsible, following public complaints. |

Upon digging for more news to serve you guys, we've stumbled upon something beyond strange and intriguing. Electronic Arts (EA) posted up a site called Kah Ra Shin - beneath its simplistic eastern design hides a chockful of surprises. There are four sections of this insanity. First up, 'The Way of the Scream' where you can find a bunch of user sent videos of themselves shouting. Anyone can either upload a scream or send one to a friend. Next up, a history page of Kah Ra Shin titled 'Through the Ages'. Apparently, this cult started when a young boy living in a Tiberian village discovered the joy and release to be found by smashing things. Take note of the broken car image beside the text. Third section, 'The Teachings', is the most hilarious out of the bunch. It offers a collection of eight videos detailing the ways of Kah Ra Shin that follows the idea of 'speed, aggression, destruction'. Here's a snippet of their ideology: Kah Ra Shin is fun and easy to start... simply snap a pencil, smash a vase or drive a car into a wall at 200kph. To become a grand master, however, takes dedication, self belief, and an endless supply of crockery. Pay attention disciples, the peace and joy that comes with such efforts will truly reward the faithful. Finally, the 'Testimonials'. As you would expect, testimonies from people all over the world who were enlightened by Kah Ra Shin can be found here. From what we can tell, this group's members are all former problematic with a history of anger issues. Looks like Kah Ra Shin is better than any anger management program, or so these guys say. Considering the theme of destruction, Burnout Dominator's logo on the bottom left, and being made by EA, one would say that this is an elaborate ploy to attract people for an upcoming Burnout title. It's too early to tell, so enjoy playing around the site for now. Find the site by clicking on the Read link below. |

Electronic Arts (EA) has been upgrading the tracks for its racing video game Burnout Dominator. A couple of days ago, we shared with you a new and free downloadable content called "Carnival Point" for the said PSP title. Fans of the franchise will be happy to know that EA has just announced another one. Starting June 7, fans can start downloading the new track "Red Gate" directly to their PlayStation Portable units. The concept for this is actually quite in contrast with Carnival Point's sandy beach and downtown traffic of a South American metropolis. In Red Gate, Burnout Dominator takes players in the busy streets of an Eastern European city at night. There are two methods of downloading the track, depending on your location:

Electronic Arts' 2nd Burnout Bandslam has just been concluded, with over 5,000 bands from the U.S. and 2,100 bands from other locations participating. Two and a half million MySpace users took part in the initial judging with the final selection conducted by an expert panel. The two grand prize winners, "Never Heard Of It" (U.S.) and "Showing Off To Thieves" (UK, Europe), walked away victorious. Winners of the contest will receive a demo recording deal with Virgin Records and EA. They also get a chance to have their song included in a future Burnout videogame. One Runner-Up band from the U.S. and from each of the participating countries across Europe will receive one Epiphone Les Paul Custom Guitar. European Winner – Showing Off To Thieves They clinched the top spot with their debut single "Everyone has their secrets". Driven by powerful vocals, incisive lyrics and crushing rhythms, their distinctly British sound has captured the attention of the people from MySpace. U.S. Winner – Never Heard Of It (NHOI) This independent band is considered on of the hardest working bands on tour. As of 2001, they have self-booked and financed 11 U.S. tours and even expanded their schedule to Europe and Japan. They have been asked to play The Warped Tour two years in a row. They have also started their own label called Unmotivated Records, put out a full length CD and got a nationwide distribution deal because of their extensive touring and fantastic tracks. The full list of Runner-Ups:

You know how music actually affects your general disposition in any particular activity you engage in, right? Well, Electronic Arts certainly recognizes that as fact, hence they teamed up with AOL music to come up with a list that will certainly get drivers in that "Burnout" mood, but would be definite must-avoids if they wanna survive life on the fast lane. The poll was conducted to mark the release of EA's PSP race-action title Burnout Dominator. The concept behind the poll is rather simple as well. The list basically represents those songs that "got people in the 'Burnout' mood to drive aggressively, get the blood pumping and the adrenaline racing." And the finding was pleasantly surprising. Mostly, people recognize rock classics as the ultimate type of songs that could drive them to push that gas pedal just a little harder until they smell burning rubber. So pretty much, if you're driving only behind your PSP with Burnout Dominator, then the list could prove really helpful in getting that vibe on. But when you're out in the real world, then you should essentially stay away from the songs in this list. Here's the top ten adrenaline-boosting songs that drivers should avoid in the real world:
