When it comes to Dungeon Siege: Throne of Agony, we're a bit sorry that all we got were screenshots. We even had some sort of a countdown here every week, with each new post accompanied by new images. For a change, we won't be giving you any more of that. Why? Because we just don't feel like it, that's why.Nah, just kidding! Actually, we'd like to inform you that the game is finally available now. Publisher Take-Two Interactive Software and developer SuperVillain Studios are more than happy with this announcement as the game was previously delayed for a few days. "Gamers will now be able to explore the world of Aranna wherever they are," says 2K President Christoph Hartmann. The PSP version actually succeeds the events that occurred during Dungeons Siege 2 (PC). To add some more spice, this newest RPG addition to the successful series features new playable characters and unique non-linear single player campaign. Hartmann believes they've made the right decision taking on this project as he mentions, "The fast-paced action that made the Dungeon Siege series such a success is perfectly suited for the PSP system." Dungeon Siege: Throne of Agony can be purchased for U.S. $39.99 in stores across the whole of N. America. Buy: [Dungeon Siege: Throne of Agony] |

The end of the month is coming up, and while you guys will be out there
running around trick-or-treating, we thought we'd tickle your gaming
sweet tooth by giving you a compilation list of the games coming out
for the next few days. Once again, save
yourself the trouble of sweating out a long walk to you local retail store, and enjoy our Halloween treat for 'ya. And while there's a lot of games to look forward to, we'll have to honestly say that our top picks would have to be The Sims 2: Pets (Sickeningly cute animals, go figure), and FEAR (This one just for this holiday's sake). Dungeon Siege: Throne of Agony is a real time RPG from SuperVillain Studios and Take-Two Interactive (as you might remember, Microsoft lost the right to publish Dungeon Siege games after Take-Two Interactive bought it March 2006). This game is out this month! DS:ToA continues the story of Dungeon Siege 2 (for the PC). DS2 was a hack-n-slash dungeon crawler that kept getting compared to Diablo 2, but that opens up a whole other can of worms ("room of imps" is probably more appropriate) because we don't want to relive the messy DS2 vs. Diablo 2 debate (yeah, cuz it was so obvious that Neverwinter was better, har har har). Anyway, it's on to the screenshots! Try to spot the Half-Giant Warlord, the Human Battlemage, and the Elven Shadow Stalker. As you know, these are the three characters with their own abilities and followers. It's not RPG if it's not all about level up, level up, level up: higher levels give access to Hero Class and Legendary Class for even more skills and powers. The newest adventure to watch out for in the Dungeon Siege series is the Dungeon Siege: Throne of Agony. The PSP version features new, playable characters and if that isn't enough to rev you up, it also features a different design, non-linear, single player campaign. Still inadequate? If you really don't like playing all by your lonesome, then you'll be happy to hear that the game will also have support for co-operative and competitive multiplayer games. |

We just received more screens for Throne Of Agony, the newest adventure in the Dungeon Siege series, now heading to the Playstation Portable for the first time. Players have the choice between 4 unique characters, which can level up into 8 different Hero Classes and 16 Legendary Classes. Multiplayer support is provided in the form of a cooperative mode, allowing players to fight evil with up to 3 friends. If there's no time for a lenghty campaign walkthrough, a Battle Arena mode delivers fast-paced skirmish action. The Dungeon Siege gameplay style is fully retained on the PSP, offering heaps of different weapons and armor. Additionally, over 100 spells and abilities will help players throughout their journey. Dungeon Siege: Throne Of Agony will conquer PSPs around the world this Fall.
