For those of you who haven't heard of this kind of software, it's a nice package of Flash Games and other applications in one big bag.Ultimate PSP v1.6 contains 150 Flash games, 29 applications and a link to JPJunkie's new forum where you can tell him what you think of his work and maybe suggest a few things that could be implemented in later versions. Installation is easy and can be done in a few steps. But you have to read the included readme to sort the procedures out. Enjoy all the nifty stuff and the new forums linked! JPJunkie also says the forums will soon need moderators. Download: Ultimate PSP v1.6 |

DarthFALCO has released a PSP version of the old Casio MG-880 game. This Flash game includes custom backgrounds and gives players three lives, as opposed to the DarthFALCO's PC version which gave players only one life. The game also requires you to turn your PSP sideways to play it. The controls are as follows:
To play the game, just unzip the .swf file that features the background you want onto your PSP's memory stick then point your browser towards it. For example, if you unzipped mg880-01.swf to you PSP memory stick's root, point your browser to "file:/mg880-01.swf". Download: Casio MG-880 Calculator Flash Game Usage instructions and an explanation of the game after the jump! |

MTV has released a PSP-compatible flash game based on their reality comedy show Rob and Big. This Flash game was of course made to further promote the series, and was developed by New Zealand-based company Zodal. In the game, players play as Rob Drydek, skating through three different levels while doing their best to avoid whatever stuff gets in their way. Along the way, players also collect DC logos. Each level also features a level boss that players have to take out by pressing certain key combinations before a timer runs out. You can download the PSP version of the game below. Just extract and place inthecribpsp.swf into the root of your PSP's memory card and point your browser towards it. If you prefer the net-based version, click on the "via" link below. Download: Rob and Big: In the Crib PSP Flash Game |

PSP homebrew developer Shilo has just come up with a new Flash game for the community's enjoyment, titled Ghostbusters. As the author explains, "This is a Flash game based on Ghostbusters for the NES. You drive the Ectomobile (the 1959 Cadillac Miller-meteor from the movie) through the streets of New York, running over ghosts, and dodging cars." One important detail to note is that due to the PSP's flash player limitations, only two of the game's three sounds - SFX, Ecto-1's siren, music - can be heard at any given time. Shilo further notes that Ghostbusters is playable on PSPs with firmware 2.71, and Dark AleX's custom fw series. DAX's FWs are recommended, given that users can set the CPU speed in the XMB to 333mhz to ensure the game speed does not slow to a crawl. Installation, controls, and other details should be available in the file bundle. As per Shilo's instructions in the readme, we'll be directing users to the ZionMax site for the download link - that'd be the source link below. Enjoy the game, and make sure to drop by the author's forum release thread here at the QJ.Net Forums. Visit: QJ's PSP Flash Player Discussions and Releases Forums |

We came across a new magazine scan featuring Square Enix's upcoming PSP title Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII. It's been a while since we last posted anything about this game, so here you go. The scan comes from the Japanese magazine Shonen Jump, so the standard QJ Japanese disclaimer applies here. The lower left part of the scan shows Ifrit, one of the constants in the Final Fantasy universe. Ifrit can once again be summoned in this game, and like some of the previous Final Fantasy titles, you first have to beat him before you can use him in battle. Well, that's pretty much all we know about the scan. If you wanna check out the trailer, click here for the one with subtitles. Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII is slated for an August release in Japan. The demo's reportedly coming this month. |

During the recently held Konami’s 2007 San Francisco Gamers Day, the company showcased their 2007 lineup of games with some announced titles also seeing the first light right there in San Francisco. It's gonna be a great year for DS users, with a total of eight games lined up for release this year, unlike the PS3 which, if the lineup isn't altered, will only have one Konami game spinning on the sleek console (whatever happened to MGS4, we dunno). So anyway, here's Konami's 2007 lineup as revealed during Gamers Day: PSP

Do you guys remember Robbit the rabbit-like robot? It is actually the star of PSOne original Jumping Flash! title. We asked because we believe some of you are still quite young when the game was first released around 12 years ago. Back then, fans really went ga-ga over the game as it was considered to be the first 3D platformer ever.At any rate, this will come as a big and welcome surprise to fans who do remember playing it as the game is now available for purchase on the PlayStation Store. The moment we heard about this, memories of collecting Jetpods and slugging it out with evil scientist Aloha filled our heads in an instant. Jumping Flash! was originally developed by the now defunct company Exact. Purchasing the game will cost you US$ 5.99. |

TCLCloud, a well-known flash developer for the PSP, has released a new version of his Portal 117 web browser portal package for the PSP. This portal contains games, applications, RSS Channels, videos, demos and more - including the amazing Portal 117 Live, which provides a constantly updated list of new wallpapers and downloads from the Portal 117 website. All you need is firmware 2.0 or higher to use this portal as it utilizes the PSP's built-in browser although version 2.80 is recommended for full functionality. Remember, though, if you are running Dark_Alex's 2.71 SE firmware or emulated firmware in DevHook, you can still use it. Here's a quick look at what you can expect from this portal:
