Here's something for our readers who imported a copy of PlayStation Portable title Gundam Battle Chronicle. Developer Namco Bandai has just released a new password for the "Extra Mission" mode of the video game through its official website which you can visit via the Read link below.Aside from releasing these passwords on the official website, Namco Bandai also divulged the info to select publications and video game related Japanese magazines. When you think about it, this is a wise move from the company to keep players talking about the game after it has been released. Gundam Battle Chronicle has PSP players fighting against each other using some of the legends from the franchise such as Shiro Amada and Johnny Raiden. |

Giant mecha don't get any bigger in Namco Bandai's latest addition to the Gundam franchise in their recently released Gundam Battle Chronicle video game for the PSP. For those of you who've already run through the game or even beaten it already, you can still get some extra bang for your buck as the official site has revealed a password unlock for a new mission in the game's "Extra Operation" mode. The extra mission can be unlocked through the input of a password when you access the said Extra Operation mode. While the game itself requires you to be well versed in Japanese to understand most of the in-game text, the password itself can be easily accessed off the official website's News section through the via link below. Just copy the appropriate characters when prompted during the password input screen. It's no surprise that, with such a huge fan base in Japan, Gundam Battle Chronicle has already reached phenomenal sales during the first day after its release. While people here in the States are slowly getting into the groove with the slow injection of the series, gamers who want to immerse themselves into the game can relive all the hardcore mecha battles the game offers. |

Those who yearn for more replayability from their games should be happy with Gundam Battle Chronicle. The latest PSP Gundam game features Chain Missions, where the storyline is altered depending whether the player succeeds or fails certain missions. The Tragedy in Jaburo scenario was made as an example for the Chain Mission feature: success in the mission will let the player will encounter an enemy Gundam, while defeat will let the pilot sneak into an underground base. This new feature will mean that PSP gamers can sit with this Gundam game for hours and going back to each mission just to check what happens if they either win or lose the Chain Missions. All in all, this looks like Gundam Battle Chronicle will have lots of replay value in store for the mecha fans. Do check this space for more updates! Gundam fans, your attention please: the official website for Namco Bandai's PSP title Gundam Battle Chronicle is now live, and there's so much information available in the site! Mostly, it's about the gameplay, the mobile suits available in the game, as well as some movie clips. The downside? It's in Japanese, but you can still easily locate the movies under the "Movie" section of the website.
Here's a recap for those who want to know more about this game, but can't make heads or tails about the site. Gundam Battle Chronicle lets you take the cockpit of many Mobile Suits found in most Gundam anime that are part of the Universal Century saga such as Z Gundam, Stardust Memory, and the first Gundam series. However, it'll be better to just show our dear readers what kind of game to expect upon it's release. Go ahead and click the play button on the video below, and enjoy! Check out the official website in the Read link! |

Gundam fanatics rejoice - if you couldn't get enough of the high-octane mecha-busting joy that the first title of the franchise offered on the PlayStation Portable, Namco Bandai is sending another one your way with Gundam Battle Chronicle. So what's new this time around? Why, the chance to pilot each and every one of the game's immense armory of legendary mechs, some of which taken from ZZ Gundam, MS Gundam 0083, S Gundam, and Nu Gundam - the pickings amounting to a huge selection of 140 bipedal (and not quite bipedal) machines of destruction. And you'll need every one of them, if you're to survive the game's 120+ missions that'll take you from the relative safety of terra firma to deep underwater AND outer space. Very good news for us who frequently daydream about one day taking the fight to corrupt space tyrants in our own gundams. Updates as we get them, and you can check out more screenshots from the Read link below. |
