Yuusha no Kuse ni Namaiki da by SCEJ for the PSP - Image 1Fans of classic 2D RPG games should take a gander at this new batch of screenshots of the quirky bad-guy simulator Yuusha no Kuse ni Namaiki da by Sony Computer Entertainment Japan (SCEJ) for the PSP. As we have mentioned in our previous article, Yuusha no Kuse ni Namaiki da puts players into the shoes of the Demon King in order to scare away the good guys who are planning to get rid of evil.

The game will have three modes: Training, Story and Versus. If you're wondering how multiplayer battles will turn out on this strange yet lovable title, the VS mode is an Ad-hoc multiplayer mode, good for playing during insane sleepovers with friends.

The Demon King doesn't only throw monsters into the hero's path, he also has to take care of them and make sure that the monster ecosystem is balanced out. For example, newborn monsters should be taken care of and given the right food in order to give them more bite to ward the pesky heroes away.

Yuusha no Kuse ni Namaiki da sounds like a great game so far, similar to Tecmo's Deception series. Do check this space for further updates!

Bad-guy loving Yuusha no Kuse ni Namaiki da screenshots - Image 1

Truth be told, we're rather excited about the newly announced PlayStation Portable RPG title Yuusha no Kuse ni Namaiki da. If translated, the title roughly means "For a Hero, You're Pretty Impudent". It is being developed by Sony Computer Entertainment Japan (SCEJ) and should hit Japanese retail stores on December 6.

Like the title suggests, this game provides players with a role reversal as they take on the role of the baddie Demon King instead of the usual hero role for most games. What you have to do is come up with dungeons, populate it with monsters, and destroy every good guy that comes to hunt you down.

These latest screenshots reveal that the game switches to top view during your stay in the dungeons. Here, you either ask your army to defeat the good guys or dig deeper into the dungeon to make it harder for the enemy to catch you. Staying true to the RPG genre, each win will reward you with experience points.

SCEJ has yet to make an announcement if Yuusha no Kuse ni Namaiki da will be released in other markets. In the mean time, just enjoy the screenshots and check back here at QJ.NET for regular updates.
