We've seen a lot of videos from Namco Bandai's PlayStation Portable video game, Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Heroes and as you can probably tell, we've got more videos. The heroes for today are Tenten, Tsunade, Shikamaru, and Shino.
What can we say? It's all about unleashing special ninja powers and we know that each ninja in the Naruto universe has his own specialties. Showcased in the Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Heroes videos are four of those specialties and one look will tell you that each is unique. Tenten uses weapons like shuriken and kunai while Tsunade has monstrous strength. Shikamaru on the other hand uses a shadow capturing ability that forces his opponents to mimic his movements. While most would faint at the mere sight of bugs, Shino uses them like pets (trust us, you don't want to be a dinner guest at "dinner time"). Check out the videos just to see what we mean. Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Heroes' release is closer than you think (August 28), so you might as well check out the videos to tide you over for a couple of days. |

We're sure you've watched the recent deluge of ninja fighting videos
from from Namco Bandai's upcoming video game for the PlayStation
Portable, Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Heroes. But guess what? We've got another batch, and on the spotlight are Sasuke, Sakura, Neji, and Orochimaru.
In case you've been living under a rock and haven't the slightest idea what we're talking about, Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Heroes is the second Naruto title for the PSP. It's English only and very fighting oriented as opposed to being story-oriented. Anyway, in today's videos, we see four more characters' special moves: Sasuke's Chidori, Sakura's monstrous strength, Neji's sixty-four palms move, and Orochimaru's tongue trapping attack. Anyway, we'll leave you to watch the videos and let them speak for themselves. Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Heroes' release is still a couple of shut eyes away so these videos just might tide you over until then (August 28). For now, enjoy! Three more ninja fighting videos after the jump! |

Having spent countless hours of button mashing fun playing the Japanese version, Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Heroes is definitely something we want to put down on our shopping list for next week. Today, we have another set of videos featuring four more characters from the game.
Any fan of the anime or the manga will definitely enjoy these classic scenes of ninja battling mayhem as we see Naruto enter his demon fox mode while battling against Sasuke, Itachi applying the Mangekyo Sharingan on Kakashi, Jiraiya calling upon one BIG toad for help, and everyone's favorite heavy eyebrowed martial artist, Rock Lee opening the chakra gates to put the beat down on Gaara. While this version for the PSP may seem like a watered down version of the Naruto: Ultimate Ninja 2 and Naruto: Narutimate Hero Portable, the transition from Japanese to English is something that will definitely be easier on the eyes for those not interested in learning an additional language. |

The last time we heard about Namco Bandai's upcoming beat-em-up for the PlayStation Portable, Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Heroes, we saw four characters of the game's impressive roster perform their over-the-top special moves
on their unwilling test dummies - er, stalwart opponents. Now, in this
equally-massive video update, we show you four more special moves being
performed in the heat of battle, and suffice to say, they're deadly
enough to make us wonder how on earth can anyone stand up after having
one of these hit.
With the Naruto anime series taking the lore of ninjutsu to an all-time extreme - what with multicolored outfits, insane fight scenes with every bladed weapon imaginable, as well as carpal tunnel syndrome-inducing finger movements and such - it's safe to say that these aren't quite the more unbelievable super moves we've yet to see. After all, while it's certainly weird to see a girl fling thousands upon thousands of poisonous flowers on her opponent, it'd be a few times weirder to behold someone making a giant tree grow out of the ground and blowing it up (with his victim trapped inside). Updates as we get them. Enjoy the videos! |

Do you hear that? That is the sound of Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Heroes'
release looming ever so near. For those guys who have been waiting for
the upcoming ninja brawl on the PlayStation Portable, we've got a treat
for you in the form of four gameplay videos.
If you're a fan of the anime and manga, you've probably seen the battles between Gaara and Rock Lee, Hinata and Neji, and Might Guy and Kisame. The Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Heroes gameplay videos for today have them slugging it out in-game, and we've got a plus: Choji against Kiba. Anyway, we'll get a sneak peek at the ninjas' powerful moves: Hinata's Hundred Bolts of Fury, Gaara's Desert Coffin, Choji's Human Bullet Tank, and Might Guy opening the Eight Gates (well, ok, six). The English dub is less than stellar (for this writer, at least), though seeing Hinata beat up Neji is a spectacle most fans will pay to watch. At any rate, check out the videos. Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Heroes is set to hit the shelves this August 28 so better watch out.

Anyone who grabbed the Naruto games for the PS2 would know how button-mashing extensive it is to fight the greatest ninjas. Some fans probably frowned at Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Heroes coming to the PSP, but surprises may exceed expectations. Game director Yuki Nishikawa sat down with IGN to talk about what's hot with Naruto on Sony's sleek handheld. To offer an easy, on-the-go experience, Naruto boasts of intuitive controls that deliver fast-paced action without having to break your PSP apart. That isn't to say the game will pale in comparison to other fighting games, since Nishikawa promised "ground and aerial combos, guard breaks and 'Substitution Jutsu'... that will provide players with hours of fun." It seems like some compromises were inevitable because of hardware limitations, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. The flashy attacks when "Secret Techniques" are executed will be shorter this time around, but that should help boost the game's tempo. With new features such as Heroes Mode and improved graphics, Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Heroes is shaping up to be a must-have for fans of the series, and something fighting fanatics should watch out for. Expect the game on US shelves August 28, while Europe will have to wait 'til September. |

If you've been on the look out for a good fighting game for the PSP, then you might want to consider Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Heroes. Developed by CyberConnect2 for a U.S. and Europe release, this game offers both single and multiplayer team-based battles that fans of the series will appreciate. The graphics of the game look pretty sharp and polished. The cel-shaded animation lends to the anime-ish theme of the game and should please both fighting game and anime enthusiasts alike. The combat system is now deeper as it introduces new innovations, such as the ability to create and tweak their own ninja fighting force. In addition to this, the character power-up feature can now be utilized to unleash different team attacks based on the team you built. If you plan on picking up Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Heroes, it's slated to be out this August 28 in the U.S. and September in Europe. While waiting for its release, here are some screenshots of the game for you. The rest of the screens await after the jump! |

Good news for the PlayStation Portable owners, at least if you're a big fan of Masashi Kishimoto's Naruto manga, comic, anime, and video game(s).Word is out that the franchise's PSP port - Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Heroes - has gone gold, and is another step closer to its expected North America release on August 28. Namco Bandai's Naruto UNH will entitle players to challenge fellow PSP owners via the game's multiplayer versus mode. And given game's roster of 20 ninjas, including the likes of Sasuke, Gaara, Kakashi, and (of course) Naruto, expect the sparks (and kunais) to fly when Naruto finally makes its debut in store shelves around the country. Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Heroes for the PSP is rated "T" (Teen) by the ESRB, and is further expected to land in Europe this September. |
