Those who love using emulators on their Sony PlayStation Portable have definitely a lot to look forward to today. Homebrew coder NJ has just released new builds for his projects CPS1PSP, CPS2PSP, MVSPSP, and NCDZPSP. This brings all the emulators up to version 2.3.1.While we really can't get anything from the Japanese texts on NJ's personal webpage, we believe that these builds are still on their initial stages because NJ has marked them as "developer's version". CPS1PSP and CPS2PSP emulate Capcom Play System 1 and 2 games on the PSP. On the other hand, MVSPSP and NCDZPSP allow users to play Neo Geo MVS and Neo GEO CD titles on the Sony handheld. Take all the necessary precautions in using these programs to avoid any problems. If you need more information, click on the Source link below. It should take you to NJ's release page for the emulators. Take note that, unless you understand Japanese, you will need an online language engine to understand some of the details posted there. NJ has released an update for the recently released build of MVSPSP, his NeoGeo MVS Emulator for the PSP. As the name of his update states, MVSPSP v2.3.0 now has a fix for King of Fighters 2003, allowing it to run properly on the emulator. Here's the post from NJ, translated through Google Language Tools: EBOOT.PBP3 species and source code difference. EBOOT.PBP only because of the following: 2.3.0 Each of the files to download, please use the override. 2.3.0 is compatible AdHoc and rendering software rendering in conjunction with the memory usage is increasing, thanks, but Experiment for private building, the per absolutely consider it. 2.2.4 these features are not just like me, so you use, or 2.3.0 AdHoc to disable, RELEASE flag to enable the compilation would slightly increase the available memory. 2.2.4 is generally safe for the creation of the 2.3.0 is like, for an experiment by adding code and the code itself is old.
Using the API did not AdHoc and implementation of the samples to the public only in the update is performed.
Remodeling and corrections are welcome, so please do continue. In any event, here's the latest version of MVSPSP, along with the source codes. Take care with the installation of the application, and enjoy this handy emulator! Download: MVSPSP v2.3.0 kof2003 fix |

If you loved the emulator collection NJ released yesterday, then today should be like early Christmas for you. QJ.NET Forum poster StoneCut managed to spot a new update to not one, not two, but all of the emulators previously released by the homebrew developer. Get ready for this special treat, because version 2.2.1a of CPS2PSP, CPS1PSP, MVSPSP, and NCDZPSP support Adhoc connection. Each and every one.To truly broaden the pool of pals you can pull into your emulated gaming sessions, NJ also released compatible versions for the PSP-1000 or the PSP Phat. Coupled with the updated PSP Slim & Lite compilations, retro gamers can get their PSP Slim comrades and PSP Phat cousins to enjoy Capcom Play System (1 or 2), Neo Geo CD System, or Neo Geo Multi-Video System (whichever floats your boat best). Now it's important to note that you'll need to mix and match each version to its counterpart on the opposite system, because Capcom Play System 2 on the Phat will only connect to Capcom Play System 2 on the Slim and vice versa. We've listed the downloads below in the original order that forum member StoneCut placed them, to preserve the user's intent and to minimize confusion. Speaking of confusion, the bundled readme isn't in English. So if you don't know how to get the right version to run on your PlayStation Portable, you can always have it "babelized" via online translation sites. If that doesn't help much, it wouldn't hurt to ask for help at QJ.NET's PSP Development Forums. PSP homebrew emulator enthusiast Akop Karpetyan (uberjack, to some) previously released a PSP port of neopop_uk's NeoPop Emulator. As it stands now, a new update to the initial release of the NeoPop PSP emulator has been rolled out. While this current release of the NeoGeo Pocket and Pocket Color emulator doesn't have a long bulleted list as a changelog, the solitary item on the readme is still a very substantial change indeed:
