If you haven't yet, some of you guys might want to finish up on First Departure already. The next installment is just around the corner! Though North America is getting it a few days earlier, Europe's release date for Star Ocean: Second Evolution has finally been confirmed. Square Enix just announced via press release that Europe and the rest of PAL will be getting the game come February 13.

Looking at these screens is such a trip down memory lane! Star Ocean: Second Evolution is dropping pretty soon, so some of you (myself also included) probably want to revisit The Second Story from the PSOne era. Big and beautiful batch of gameplay screens, anime cutscene captures, and battle shots ahead!

If you've been looking forward to getting your hands on Star Ocean: Second Evolution for your PSP, then you're gonna have to wait just a bit more. The beefed-up PSP remake of the tri-Ace RPG, Star Ocean: The Second Story, gets delayed in North America.

Square Enix has published a press release outlining all of their titles to roll out in North America during the first quarter of 2009. Some of them have already been confirmed before, while other titles get actual confirmation today of a western localization. Just to name a couple, we got the likes of Opera Vectra and Valkyrie in the list. But who's MIA from the Q1 2009 lineup though? If you're one to hope for some titles, sorry to be the bearer of bad news...

Via the press wire, Square Enix has announced that Europe and PAL territories will be able to get Star Ocean: Second Evolution by spring next year.

Square Enix has unveiled the the launch dates for the English port of the PSP's two Star Ocean titles. Expect First Departure to arrive by this October, with Second Evolution set to arrive by January next year. The exact release dates are available in the full article.

The question running in many hardcore RPG fans' heads right now are somewhere along the lines of: "When the heck are gamers outside of Japan going to get the new Star Ocean remakes for the PlayStation Portable?"
