Utilizing the PSP system's superior performance and technology, Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max features new content specifically designed for the system. A gameplay mode new to the Street Fighter Alpha series, Variable Battle Mode, has been implemented to allow real-time tag team brawls. Tag out and the second fighter enters performing a jump attack, a move useful for escaping tight situations. Yun, Maki and Eagle, from Capcom vs. SNK 2, as well as Ingrid from Capcom Fighting Evolution, enter the arena and are perfectly reproduced with all new original storylines. Versus battles heat up with the Wi-Fi League Battle Mode that allow a maximum of eight players to duke it out in round-robin mini tournaments. |

Capcom has announced a event for Street Fighter Zero 3 Double Upper – users who order this game early might be able to win a “support pad” for your D-pad, to improve the maneuverability of the crappy D-pad of the PSP. The quantity of this item is limited, so move fast if you want one! You can place a pre-order request at e-Capcom [here]. The game is slated for January 19, 2006 in Japan, February of 2006 for US and February 24, 2006 for Europe. This event is now known as Japanese only, hope Capcom could bring this to us too. =/

The latest issue of Famitsu is home to first details on Capcom's PSP version of Street Fighter Zero 3 (Alpha 3 in America). Fully titled Street Fighter Zero 3: Double Upper, the game promises a number of improvements over the original arcade Zero 3 release. Players will be able to use Ingrid from Capcom Fighting Jam and fight battles over Wireless LAN. As with Darkstalkers, the game will appear on the PSP screen in widescreen mode. Capcom has yet to announce a release date for Zero 3, but we expect to see something from the title at the Tokyo Game Show. |
