The PSP version of G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra won't be the only title that requires the elusive OFW 5.55. Adding to that list is the Namco Bandai Tales-fest, Tales of VS. PSP-ITA posted a screencap of the game's specs to prove it, so if the Joes can't get you to upgrade, then perhaps this one will.

This Thursday, Japan will wake up to greet Namco Bandai's Tales of VS to sprinkle more joy onto their PSPs. But before that, Shonen Jump's latest issue dishes out one last barrage of info that's sure to get all you fans excited. This issue gives out the official announcement of a special website for players. What's it for? Why, for the "SP Battle", of course! And more, much more.

After many months of vid-watching and scan-scanning for news and character confirmation for Tales of VS, we now have the complete list of the roster thanks to the latest batch of Famitsu scans.

Three more characters from various Tales titles are coming over to join in on the adventure in Tales of VS. Who could they be? You don't need to think about it long and hard. They are Kohak Hearts from Tales of Hearts, Farah Oersted of Tales of Eternia and Caius Qualls from Tales of Tempest.

Wow. Lots of updates from Namco Bandai today. This one's not Tekken-related though. For now we turn to another mainstay in the company's portfolio -- the Tales franchise, specifically the PS3 version of Tales of Vesperia and the PSP title Tales of VS.

Namco Bandai has put up a new video clip on the official Tales of VS website showing the game's multiplayer battle mode. Check it out after the jump.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words. If so, I wonder how much three videos would say. That's what we have today, explaining the battle system of Namco Bandai's Tales of VS. If those analogies hold, then you're just about to get one hell of a video game lesson in under two minutes.

These two have been confirmed for Tales of VS for some time now. But now we've got two vids showing them as they bring the pain with their Artes. Note that these vids don't up the character confirmation count, whatever list you may be basing your info on.

Seeing English words here and there in Japanese productions isn't really that surprising, but the fact that the debut trailer for Tales of VS is entirely in English sure does raise one's hopes that it'll get an overseas release. Check it out after the jump.
