Lbicelyne's FinalBurn Alpha emulator for PSP has finally gone out of the beta states and is now at version 12. The only new thing in this release in the addition of Wi-Fi game connection for some two-player emulation action. Hit the jump for more details.

He finally makes his presence felt but talking about what's been going on for the past couple of months: he's busy with work ("work" here being a "high profile game"!), the DaedalusX64 team and their efforts, future plans, and his top-secret project of porting Daedalus to an entirely new platform!

Woot! Yes, indeedy: StrmnNrmn is back in the scene! We just got confirmation from Kreationz that StrmnNrmn is joining the DaedalusX64 team - not full-time, mind you, but more as a consultant with some minor contributions. We also get news that he's working on a port of the original Daedalus project too!

Still keeping up with all the update releases for lbicelyne's FinalBurn Alpha PSP port? Well, here's another one. This release is just a prototype though. A demo, if you will. It looks like lbicelyne's still preparing to integrate WiFi into the emulator's next release, as it's again the centerpiece of this demo release.

December is looming ever so close now; will we get another public release for DaedalusX64, just as planned? Today, we've got quite a hefty update about what's in store for DaedalusX64's future. This comes from Chilly Willy, and here, he talks about what he's been contributing to the project of late: audio tweaks and other improvements galore!

Here's a quick update to Final Burn Alpha, which now sports a very long version title of Beta preV12 Demo5. The MC68000/Z80 arcade game emulator now has WiFi game connection added to its features.

The JPCSP team has once again released another update for jpcsp, the Java-based PSP emulator for PCs. Sadly, they didn't include a changelog in this release, but it could conceivably be more stability fixes for the demos and such.
