If you head over to PSPChina, you'll find a post for eBook reader: eReader v1.59. We have written about eReader v1.4, and that's a good place to start if you want to know how to use this program and navigate through it. Basically, the eReader by Aeolusc is an eBook reader program for your PSP. It lets you read simple text files, but more importantly, it lets you read HTML files, display images, and play MP3s. You can also download fonts in different sizes so you can choose one that's easy to read. readme.txt |

2006-12-24 eReader 1.59 Xmas versions (self-restraint studies & map-read software) (to support PMP AVC)
Attention:
1. TTF typeface usage: English typeface naming is ASC.TTF, Chinese typeface naming is GBK.TTF, presses in fonts together.zip or admits the fonts table of contents. The attention software menu has not used the TTF typeface, therefore do not have to erase the original typeface
2. 1.5 starts to use in exchange the 7z form 16bit and the 32bit edition packs in together,Before the installment pays attention looks at readme.txtSupplements 3 kind of simplification editions in addition
3. 2.xx edition alone installs explained that, If covers 1.50 editions, remember must certainly erase the %__SCE__eReader table of contents, otherwise will start is defeated.
4. 1.50 + 2.xx installs the method compatibly: First 1.50 edition two catalogues duplicate the memory stick, then 2.xx edition EBOOT.PBP duplicates the %__SCE__eReader table of contents to cover EBOOT.PBP then, pays attention does not want fonts.zip and other configuration files duplicate the %__SCE__eReader table of contents.
5. In the source code translation may choose switches off the wma support, like this may save probably about the 500K memory, sees the source code link to paste specifically.
6. Compresses when RAR please do not have to use the big dictionary (option in WinRAR compression contact surface high-level> - compression) or the high-pressured coefficient of contraction compresses the big document, otherwise the PSP memory insufficiently is big, is unable to process, has the breakage data
7. 1.04 edition 12 lattice typefaces have produced, also increased the length, is incompatible with the old edition, please do not have to use the old version 12 lattice typeface
8. If only needs the part specific typeface, then may fonts. In zip does not need the typeface erases, which typefaces can the software judge automatically has to supply the choice. Each size typeface has two document ASC??With GBK??Among??Expresses the typeface size numeral.
9. 0.9 editions start the new typeface compression in fonts.zip, you may erase the old edition fonts table of contents

eReader's like the best program for the PSP for texts and scanlations.
It's good to see an update.
I drew attention to this release on the forums for a reason, though apparently very few people care.
By far the best program for viewing comic books on your PSP, for one thing. I've tried them all and this blows away PePViewer. When you scroll around a big image, it shows you a miniature version of the full image off to the left, with a little box showing you what portion you are viewing. Extremely helpful for comic reading, as is the ability to manually set your zoom level whenever you like.
You really don't need to have any Chinese language skills whatsoever to use it, even though the settings menu is in Chinese. I have never found the need to change the settings. Just press triangle to change zoom settings, or hold O+Up or Down to manually set your zoom level. Triggers switch through images.
I think that anyone who likes to read comics on their PSP would be very pleasantly surprised by this program, it is perfect for it.

download the above, and there should be 2 version, 1 for 1.5 and other 2.71.. like normal homebrew just copy to your games folder..
ereader is by far, the best program for viewing comic or image + listening to mp3 together..the txt function to read novel is also quite good too..
of course, if you want to optimize your usage experience the knowledge of chinese to change setting is also quite important
Is it Cantonese? Mandarin? Other?
chinese, or you can say it's in mandarin...
i've just tried to dl this thing several times from the link, and went to the site and dled and they all keep coming up as corrupt...anyone have an alternate dl site?
