A company called Lithium House has released iCeL chargers for the PSP. It fits in your pocket while powering up with a simple firewire cable. It recharges in 1 hour with a standard Apple wall charger. They range from 18 to 90 hours of playtime and range from $99 to $199 in price. Check them out at icelusa.com |

I like the product... but I can't say I like the price :/
Price isn't bad thats if it actually does what it says it can do. For 199 for 90 hours that isn't that bad especially regular psp battery only lasts at most 6hours. For extra regular psp battery costs about 40bucks. That means thats about 15 extra psp batter packs
40dollars per pack * 15 = 600 dollars. Or you could buy the datel batter but still it won't come close to the 90 hours.
Then again this logic is based on if the actual product does what its suppose to do. Meaning if it truly comes close 90 hours even 85 hours and does close to the 1000 recharge cycles it says it can do then yeah its worth it.
Only thing is who actually will use a psp for that long or really needs that kinda power. Only reason I would get one is because I travel to hongkong and back. Getting there alone takes 20+ hours not including the time I have to wait while changing flights.
I will buy this product based on two things. 1) Someone here on pspupdates.com willing to test the battery out to see if it actually does give you the time of gameplay promoted. 2.) Product Cleanly and nicely packaged in the way battery is layouted. (Etc, Psp is still in its true sleek form).
Yeah, I really find it hard to believe that it is 90 hours of gameplay. I bet the 90 hour version isn't shown and only the 18 hour small version is shown. That 90 hours would have to come with a way bigger battery pack.
FIREWIRE CABLE????
How do you connect a firewire cable to a PSP?
"How do you connect a firewire cable to a PSP?"
You dont. It says on the page that it the battery powers up using the firewire cable. Hence connecting to a ipod power supply or a PC firewire connection I assume.
The connection to the PSP will be the standard AC connection, how do you explain it would work otherwise?
