Ahman has released a new version of the worlds greatest PSP
Shell (iR Shell) as part of the NeoFlash Summer Coding Competition (2006). iR
Shell is the most functional, and most up-to-date shell - beating out all the
competition. The main features of this shell are beyond imaginable, ranging
from playing music while you play homebrew or retail games to playing homebrew
straight off of your PC! This is the most functional shell as I stated, and
this is definitely no exaggeration. |

Are __SCE__ folders still hidden?
I just woke up and what glorious news to awake too. Downloaded it already and I can't wait to try this after some errands and food. Thanks again in advance AhMan. This shell has proven it's worth and I have no doubt it will impress me yet again.
No devhook iso support :(
IRSHELL kicks so much butt that Ahman has to stop every 10 seconds to scrape the gallon of crap off. Glorious.
How do i install this? It doesnt say anywhere =S, i tried to put it on the memorystick and it just says the game cannot be started. the data is corrupted. Btw i use version 2.70
lol..2.70.. well have fun tryin 2 get it 2 work :P
how many times do we need to say that there is no homebrew on 2.60+?
now, go get raped.
i think he knows, noone is that thick...
That GUI just made iRShell usable. This is the shit!
any word if it works on 2.6?
@12:
You just woke up???
That's sad...
Very nice shell. I'm hoping it wins the competition :-)
i was told about a good gba emu, i headed over here and then saw this!
ITS AMAZING!!!!
BLACK AND BLUE!!
Icon based file browsing is awesome! Totally beats the old interface!! AMZING WORK! KEEP IT UP!!
how do we "return to iR Shell after having launched Devhook"?
@21
Not everyone lives in America dumbass it was 9am in UK!
How do you return to the icon based menu, from when u are in the text based (Old look) IrShell menu.
And for number 11: No it still doesent work. I read the it in the readme :)
@23
You cannot switch from the Sony Desktop back to iR Shell, but you start a UMD game or homebrew and THEN you can switch back and forth again.
If you're referring to switching between the XMB (sony desktop you called it?) and IRSHELL, then yes you CAN do it, just use L+select
THANKX..another Update...GREAT..Loving it
Eh. This version is a big disappointment.
Hmph, still having issues with my Lexar ms. Ah well. Dun have much use for it anyhow. >.>
