StrmnNrmn Daedalus PSP - Image 1While most of the coders out there work within the same circles, one of them seems to be standing on the outside, causing his own storm of sorts. External from most of the drama, StrmnNrmn is happily living in his own world, giving us one of the greatest homebrew emulator projects for the PSP: the Nintendo 64 emulator, Deadalus PSP. As a tribute to Daedalus' third year anniversary this month, here's your QuickGuide for reminiscing (or catching up!) on the life and times of StrmnNrmn so far. Strap into your seats, we're heading into the eye of the storm!

Tomb Raider movie - Image 1Terminator: Salvation producer Dan Lin has rights over the next Tomb Raider movie, and from what he says, it's going to be a reboot. Oh don't act all surprised - we heard earlier that the new movie will be getting a fresh start. More details on this though: the way Lin describes it, Lara's new movie - an origins-type of movie - won't be full-on action but will go deeper into the character. Kinda like Dark Knight, perhaps? Well, what ever the case, you can definitely scratch Angelina Jolie from the role - they're looking for someone younger.

Deadpool - Image 1Everyone loves Ryan Reynolds Deadpool, don't they? The simple fact that he Shoryuken'd Kitty Pride in front of Logan (Snikt me! Snikt me!) wins instant cool points in my book. Here's a bit of treat for all you guys thinking in yellow boxes: a Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2 trailer starring none other than the Merc with the Mouth himself. Yeah, fine, there are cameos of the other characters - Captain America, Iron Fist, Hulk - but whoooo caaaaares?! I'd have Deadpool Dragon Punch the lot of them if I had the choice!

Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Tag Force 4 - Image 1Not stopping at Tag Force 3, the next installment in the Yu-Gi-Oh! GX franchise for the PSP has been revealed. Coming by way of the latest issue of V-Jump magazine, Konami's Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Tag Force 4 is heading out for Japan. No details have been listed, but you can most probably expect all the gameplay elements in previous games to be intact here. More interestingly though, this latest game will now incorporate stages and characters from the Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's series.

ChickHEN R3 - Image 1And you thought ChickHEN updates have reached a standstill? Heck no. We haven't even reached the yoke of the matter yet! It looks like Davee and the rest of Team Typhoon are busy updating their ChickHEN exploit to a new and very much improved R3. Just as M33 would have their custom firmwares, Team Typhoon also plans to incorporate a VSH menu and plugin support (among other features) to ChickHEN R3.

PSP Paintball - Image 1Sweet. All you guys wanting an update on CSPSP will surely be satisfied with this. It's not CSPSP itself, but a mod of the most recent version. And judging from the screens and changelog, it's definitely a keeper. PSP Paintball v6.2 from Immortal- takes CSPSP v1.6.1 from nataku92 and gives it quite an overhaul.

3D Arcade - Image 1Wish you had your very own arcade cabinet at home huh? Well, at least virtually, this is as close as you can get. 3D ArcadePSP demo allows you to "walk around" a 3D environment (Myst-style) and activate the emulator by going to the Arcade cabinet on the corner. In this demo, playing on the Arcade cabinet will boot Mame4All.

PSP homebrewThere's a handful of power-saving applications and plugins out there, but that's not stopping PSP homebrew developer Warlock-. PSP Power Saver v0.0.6 "increases" your PSP battery's life by around 5%. In future versions, this number could potentially go up.

Indiana JonesWhy play as Indiana Jones if you can go racing through jungles and ruins as rogue pilot Han Solo himself? Yes, LucasArts has revealed that Han Solo - or, at least, a costume/skin for Indy - will be crossing over to Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings as a playable character. Looks weird seeing the Star Wars space man swing about with a whip, but hey, at least it's not a Lego Han Solo. Check out the trailer in the full article. Sorry, furry friends, no Chewbacca. *gwwwaarrrggglle*
