Time for a bit of retro fun. A new video is out for the PSP remake of Persona, showing how you can arrange and save your battle formations for enemy encounters. Useful for the strategically inclined, which you'd have to be for this game.

The latest hardware sales figures in Japan show the various milestones that each platform has currently hit. The PlayStation 3 proves to be more popular in the region than the Xbox 360. We had a conspicuous lack of updates for Gran Turismo 5 at GDC. ah, but we did have one itsy bitsy piece of news from SCEA's John Koller, who says that the game will be released when it "makes the most sense." Homebrew dev Total_Noob is back with an update to Ultimate VSH Menu, plugging a "perfect" recovery menu. This version has bug fixes as well as several new features, and is now fully compatible with CFW 5.00 M33-6. Changelog after the link.

Homebrew developer wololo put up a very interesting guide on how to find savegame exploits in PSP games. In his guide, he cited an attempt to find an exploit in Phantasy Star Portable using the same method that was used to find the exploit in GripShift.

SuperFury1 is back with an update to PopStation PSP, the app that will let you convert PSX games to eboot on your handheld. This version now allows you to change your eboot's save id, game title, and game id according to date retrieved from psx.db. More details after the link.
