Following on from a recent article here at QJ announcing the new strategy RPG in development from Level 5 - Jeanne d'Arc (commonly known in English as Joan of Arc), comes these scans from a recent issue of Japanese magazine, Famitsu. Now I am not Japanese so I have no idea what the wording says, but judging by the anime graphics it is looking pretty good!

Jeanne d'Arc, which takes place in a fictitious 3D world inspired by Joan of Arc and features turn-based RPG play utilising the unique character powers and game rules to determine your offensive and defensive strategies, is currently pencilled in as being released in Japan in December, with the US release some time in 2007.

Oh man... I hope this is a real STRATEGY RPG, like Shining Force and Fire Emblem, because those games really suit the PSP.

» OMG LEVEL 5 is making this!!

man i am soooo psyched for this game. it looks amazing!! and level 5 is making this game. that is an awesome company that brought you darkcloud2,dragonquest8,and cant forget the up and coming rogue galaxy. to me level 5 is the king of cell shading rpgs. tho this looks more 3D texture than cell shaded, but with a company like this making a game. its sure to be a bonafide hit. i for one will be getting this once its dropped over here. GO LEVEL 5!!! Plus famitsu giving a thumbs up!!?? that must mean its going to be a hot title becaue we all know how harsh famitsu magazine can be.

 » Level 5 = Excellence.

I also agree that with Level 5 making this, it's bound for success. Anyone that played Dark Cloud 2 should know that (Dark Cloud 1 was still good, but 2 was just amazing). These guys know how to make a game worth playing, and for a long time.

 » Awesome!

This is so awesome. The graphics and art style are awesome! The game seems to be going into the right direction of awesomeness.

I can't wait to get this game in early 2007; I believe that this awesome game will come out for NA at around that time.

I am so awesome!
