Following Harry and his quest to find his little girl in an eerie town, has given us much sleepless nights and is back yet again with Silent Hill Origins for your PSP. Although, met with a lot of speculations, most especially if having the game played on a handheld will still have the same feel as in Playstation, it is still a very good series worth a second - if you're brave enough - a third look. |

Ok, the video was messed up and I was thinking how uncreepy Silent Hill would be on the PSP but I think I've changed my mind. Turn the lights out, pull out the headphones and take me to Silent Hill.
Is October when this is coming out?
That video was creepy, but makes sense for the game that is Silent hill. Looks great. Can't wait.
#2, if you would have watched the video to the end you would have seen that it was coming out this winter. Which means at the end of December the beginning of January, seeing that the first day of winter is Dec. 22nd.
Silent Hill on the PSP, what more could I ask for?
omg I can't wait for this one
Actually winter depends on which hemisphere you live in. Southern Hemisphere is June, July and August. So the real question is is this a region specific trailer?
I never thought about that!!! :D
Are you from down under?
anyone know the song? is it original for the game?
i wonder how we will play it,cuz we'll have to sit in the darkest place ever, even in prince of persia the gamma was very dark making it impossible playing at the light places, and here...
I hope this dosen't mean we wont get the first Silent Hill game for PSP from the Sony's PS1 Emulator, I want that PS1 version on PSP more.
Anyone knows the name and artist whose song is running in the background of the trailer?
I also would like to know who did the music on that trailer....sounds like a slow, creepy Bowie.
The most creepy game is coming to the psp Finally!!!!
Nice Trailor
yeeeeeeeees
I can't wait for this game. That song is from the Silent Hill 3 OST. It's called Hometown. I forget the singer though, Joe, something, lol.

PAPU does it again! Manages to post old news!
Most of the music s composed in house by the.. guy that does the music in the Silent hill konami team...
doesn't make me upgrade to 2.7 I will buy it.
Better be an ORIGINAL NEW storyline. Is it just me or every game developer is plain running out of ideas and creativity?????
Its all remakes. The trend has even followed into consoles. Xbox 360... just a new improved shinier, brighter Xbox.
Same for PS3
And games.... cyclical.
And ironically all 3rd gen titles will cost 59.99.. hah!!
Back on topic.... if this is a remake... dont buy it!!! Why would you pay more to play the same with a few more polygons??????
nerd
I almost burnt myself watching it!
lol...no, North America but, I would love to see Sydney!

Sorry about the empty comment.
the song is called "Hometown" it's by Akira Yamaoka.
it's quite easy to find.
it's originally from SH1.
the trailer looks awesome!
something R Kelly would love to pee on. hehe
can't wait-
lately a lot of good games have been annoucened to come out for PSP. but for us 1.5 users we can't play any of them. is there any chance there will be a firmware 2.7 changer perhaps? or some way of being able to play them without upgrading?
Okay, before posting try to actually watch the movie.
This game is a PREqueal to Silent Hill.
This game will force a 2.7 upgrade at the least (Sony will likely have a new upgrade way before Q4)
Also, this is the number one game I'm looking forward to behind Valkryie Profile!
Dam silent hill on psp, silent hill 3 on PS2 ***** me up well bad i never completed the game (lol). This should be a classic for PSP cos silent hill games are always ... well scary and screwed up.
If i get this i know that at least ill never need a laxitive again just take it where ever u want to go. lol
i LOVED that song. and video. cant wait for this one.
Am Not Gonna Sleep after Playing that LoL!

I concur. Fatal Frame (aka Project Zero) on the Xbox is the scariest. Very very very scary.
