It's been a while since the last version of prxutility. With roughly around four months of no updates, you can expect huge changes in this release, prxutility v5.0. The biggest of which is 5.0-M33 compatibility - others involve fixes and additions to this helpful plugin to extract some info about your system. To give you a recap of what it does, here's some words from PSPflashsystem: This prx allows you to know several information about your battery (time left, charge level, temperature, voltage, ac adapter, ...) , cpu/bus speed, your mac adress, the motherboard model of your psp... prxutility++ also allows you to shutdown, reboot or sleep your psp, to set brightness to maximum (or minimum)... Now for that hefty changelog.

Even though the prx for 4.01 worked on 5.00 for me, this update is really great.

» Wtf is this????
And this I quote...
"prxutility++ also allows you to shutdown, reboot or sleep your psp, to set brightness to maximum (or minimum)..."
"When you active Hold : CPU and BUS speed becomes 65/28 MHz, and PSP screen is turned off, Back light desactivated and buttons blocked"
"Ability to customize your PSP (5.00 M33 and higher) by Memory Stick whithout modificate Flash0."
First of all, this program is NOT even remotely useful for plenty of reasons... chief among them is that almost every function in this plugin has been released by other ppl already... and compiled for the most part by iRShell!!! Secondly, I smell bull***** for the second and third quotes... Hold v 3.3 has already been done by the second quote, and cxmb plugin was already done by the third quote... is he compiling plugins into an all-in-one and not giving credit to the people who originally created them? That's just wrong, especially since all these things i have quoted have been done since the "4 months he has not updated this plugin." Bull***** and plagiarism I say, and I think everyone here should discourage these actions. prxutility needs to plug all the people who's work he's stolen.
If I am wrong please correct me, and I'll gladly recant. But I have never heard of or seen this program EVER and I've been tracking psp mods for a year.
So....wtf?

» Ignorance
You are seriously ignorant of this mans work.
Point the first: If it's on version 5.00, do you not think that maybe there were releases before this?
Point the second: It has been 4 months since the last update, and your example, the Hold+ plugin, has been out for less than that. So if anything, the Hold+ dev is copying, though he isn't.
Point the third: Reverse engineering is a reputable way to make a living in the tech business. It's not plagiarism.
Look at the code. It's completely different from any of the previous plugins. PRXutility is good for anyone who wants to combine the FUNCTIONS of their favourite plugins all in one.

» your comment is stupid
What you insinuate that prxutility++ is compiling plugins into an all-in-one and not giving credit to the people who originally created thim?!?
Your comment is really stupid: during three months I program prxutility ++ and at the end I read unpleasant comments insinuating that I am a cribber... If you want to see the src code of prxutility++ you can and then you will shut up.
Besides, you, who speaks, try to make a prx like prxutility++ and then you will see if it is so easy...
So shut up please

when it says theme files, am I right in assuming that its talking about CTF files?
Oh and as a request, there's one thing that I would like with the hold functionality that the HOLD plugin lacks as well... and that's the ability to configure the speed that it clocks to when you set it on hold. There are quite a bit of applications that I use that freeze up when it's underclocked that much, I mainly use it to turn off the backlight and screen (as the PSP annoyingly turns the screen back on when you try to adjust the volume on change songs etc)

» Well then...
I'll stay true to my promise and show my face up in here. Honestly, I don't have the time or the know-how to read source, and will definitely do it if you can get me a link to a guide (not that you would anyways) but I honestly don't see how this is anything more than a compilation from the outside. Either you worked/talked with various programmers while you created prxutility, or you figured out the same exact things they did somehow (everything they did, actually) in 4 months (which would mean you're either crazy or doing this for a programming class) OR you outright did exactly what I Insinuated and plagiarized the heck outta everyone else's creations. So, show me proof and I'll recant, or just suck it up flashboy.
