Joost, Thomas, and Paolo has updated ScummVM PSP port to version 0.8.2. ScummVM is a multi-platform stack-based virtual machine which allows one to play LucasArts adventure games which use the SCUMM system on platforms other than those where versions were originally released. There is no special changes included for the PSP version according to the Readme. Download: [ScummVM v0.8.2 for PSP] Thanks for the email heads-up, tharubberchicken! |

No 2.6? that's bad
well I'll continue playing sega genesis, snes and psp rhytm
They just fixed the broken sword 2 support that they stop from working in last release.
Wrong Ed, this homebrew matters to five people, 4 have posted here, the fifth is too busy reading and using his mind to defeat Darth.
Does anybody knows if it works in 2.6???? :D
Thanks!
bah, another pointless homebrew app. Bring out a umd loader for 2.0+.
This is all just a waste.
Lol@ed That is how I feel too.
But SCUM is really a good emu for playing LUCASARTS games! lmao
ed. shut up.
scummVM is the best homebrew!!!!!! Your comment is pointless, Monkey.
Aint working for me with eloader on 2.6
Ed! wtf!
SCUMM is a damn good homebrew, so stfu
Suppose games that make you think.
are more that you can handle?
If you want a umd loader so bad.
Why dont you start coding.
More that you can handle?
Make a inteligent comment.
More that you can handle?
cofca doma tori !!!!
So what's new in this version?
when this was first announced, alot of people were excited, and when it came out, even more were excited,
just because you dont like (or havent heard of) the old LucasArts games, doesnt mean you should insult the program
Someone list the old LucasArts games so we can download them all.
Whoever said this is a waste of homebrew.... YOU'RE a waste, buddy. Day of the Tentacle owns you all. So does Indian Jones: Fate of Atlantis, Beneath a Steel Sky and Flight of the Amazon Queen, they all own you haha, dumb pirate.
i am not quite sure wat scummvm is exactly..? its made to run lucasarts games for c64? as in.. nintendo 64 roms..? ugh i am confused someone explain.
so for those of us who know zero about lucasarts games and aren't quite ready to slag someone off for making a homebrew program which runs them, what's all the fuss about? are they any good? and how old are they, like old like nes or newer like snes?
i have to say broken sword 2 bored me to tears when i played it... trying out the 'rope' on every person "i was going to have to think of something else". "erm, nope, wrong wrong wrong!" god it's enough to drive anyone mad.
So many leechers on here. If you don't like it move along, but don't whine like a child.
well i for one am finally going to download this homebew app, now that i finally have a 2 gig stick and will rip all of the old games off my orginal floppies! does it happen to support the talkie versions too? cause i would love to rip the cds of em too.......how i would love to play loom again on the go, without my laptop, awesome prog still!!!!
» scumm bags loads of games
http://www.scummvm.org/downloads.php most of these great games are free to DL,how games used to be,y'know good?!

» Bloody Heck.
Ok, I'm going to do it. I'm going to go EMO for a sec here.
How can anyone in their right mind (and I'm reaching here for some of these people) give any Dev flak because they took the time to write a piece of homebrew? I'll admit there's releases out there that I have no interest in downloading. This is mostly because the material isn't in my preferred genre. But never, *never* would I give anything but suggestions and constructive criticism to someone who out of the goodness of their heart, tried to make our PSP's a bit better.
So I have a suggestion and some constructive criticism for the ignorant people who feel they have to embiggen (yes that's a word) themselves by insulting these innovative talented people:
Take your PSP, and donate it to an orphanage. If that's not in your moral ability. mosey outside to your outhouse and drop it in the tank.
We have no use for you here, and neither does the free thinking world.
