Heads up, fellow gamers from Europe! You're in for some loving, as Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) just unleashed their lineup of games for all PlayStation platforms. Or at least, if the post from NeoGAF holds true. Among the big titles, what catches our attention the most is the debut of PlayStation Home to European networks. Looking at the PlayStation 3 list, Time Crisis 4 and Uncharted: Drake's Fortune are difficult to miss. Good stuff are also coming from PSN, with new entries to Sony's ever expanding library of downloadable games clocked in at 13 titles. Still, PlayStation Home being there makes us pray that the post is legit. A healthy dose of games will be gracing the PS2 and PSP. Only a couple of solid dates are listed for Sony's handheld, but more titles are expected to get tagged with a release soon. Keep in mind that we are yet to receive any official confirmation, but updates are sure to follow. Here's the list for now: Playstation 3

The M33 team has rolled out another update for their Custom Firmware (CFW) 3.51 M33 which adds quite a few functionalities that users have been asking for. In addition to this, they've also fixed a couple of bugs which prevented users from running some games.Among the improvements include a few updates on the M33 NO-UMD driver, such as a bug fix which now allows games such as ATV Offroad Fury Pro, Steel Horizons, Tony Hawk's Project 8 to run on the firmware, and an improvement on the speed loading time. Another addition to the firmware is its ability to now autodetect ta-082+ with brightness problems and correct it. Now, you should know that these display issues were found with the 1.50 kernel. Here are a few more of the changes in the CFW:
And finally, the usual warnings for beginners: This is custom firmware. Beginners are advised to do their research before attempting to install this. You could seriously mess up your PSP if you botch this up. Thanks to Ryan F. for the news! Download: CFW 3.51 M33 update #7 |

Seems like bargains for gamers simply don't stop. After reports of Lumines being sold at a ridiculously low price, Tesco dishing out cheap games enough to worry other retailers, and some other summer sales, Toys R Us now offers a clearance sale - tagging PSP and DS titles at US$ 9.98. That isn't to say there are no good games flying off the shelves at that price; definitely not. Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories, which brings the immersive GTA experience to your pocket, can now be bagged at ten bucks. Sequel of the title selling like hotcakes recently, Lumines 2, is also up for grabs. For DS owners, you might want to take ATV Quad Frenzy or X-men: The Official Game. A lot neglected these gems, but it's a steal with the current bargain prices. Find these and other clearance deals by clicking on the Read link below. |

According to French online site PlayFrance, Sony has furnished them a new list of video game titles that will be coming to all its current consoles, including the ones for online service PlayStation Network (PSN). The list for the PlayStation 3 is basically just a refresher of already known titles such as Lair and Heavenly Sword.
Quite interestingly, the lists for PSN and the PlayStation Portable reveal a lot of previously unknown or much-rumored video games. The said site failed to mention where the information came from so until Sony gives an official word, we're still putting this under "Rumors". Anyway, here's the list: PSN video game titles:

This Black Friday, you can get a whole lot of good PSP deals. How cheap exactly? Okay, at Circuit City, they're selling GTA: VCS for thirty bucks, you get a free Pelican kit with a purchase of a PSP, and ATV Offroad, Ape Escape, Infected, and Hot Shots Golf are all ten dollars each. What else? Oh, yeah, Pirates of the Caribbean 2 is only US$ 17, so get happy with Captain Jack or something. At Wal-mart GTA: LCS sells for only US$ 15, and a PSP will go for only US$ 170. At Meijer, a PSP will go for even lower at US$ 150! Target only gives you a US$ 25 gift card for a PSP purchase, but hey, that's still 25 bucks worth of things to give to relatives on X-mas. |

Heads up, boys and girls! buildit92 over at DCEmu has posted that Sony has released a new UMD PSP demo. This one is for ATV Offroad Fury Pro. He says he picked up his copy from Circuit City. Admittedly, he isn't too sure if it's actually an old demo or a new one. But nonetheless, it's better that he shouts it out than keeping it to himself, right? Anyway, the demo works on fw 2.71. The demo gives you the option of going for the multiplayer or the single player mode. For the single player mode, you get to pick from among four different races. These four races consist of three quad and motocross races, while the other one is a car race. Unfortunately, you can't play motobikes on this one. At least you now know that such a demo is in existence. Go ahead, check it out for yourself. |
