Now here's something great for the toy-loving gamer. The Kaiyodo Hobby Lobby store in Japan recently saw two cool figures based from Capcom's Sengoku Basara games: Yukimura Sanada and Date Masamune. Unlike the stiff figures we usually see, these guys are poseable, and best of all, doesn't come at an insane price. Check 'em out.

Play Arts was able to bring their Square Enix figurines for display in the Jump Festa event in Japan this weekend. While the Mega Closed Theater is remaining very much closed (without any leaks so far, mind you), we're off to the display cases. Check 'em out - it's the Dissidia folk and some Kingdom Hearts peeps, but more importantly, there's Lightning from FF13 as well as some girl-to-girl action with the Shiva motorcycle.

We can always trust Square Enix to capitalize on the recent release of its spin-off to the famous Final Fantasy VII title, Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII. The company, in collaboration with Play Arts, will be featuring miniature action figures of Cloud Strife and several other characters at the upcoming New York Comic Convention 2008 this weekend. Fans of the God of War series might be interested to know that they have a chance of scoring some premium swag by entering their machinima video creations on the God of War Become a God of Machinima website.
