We've got a bunch of mystery games for you this Halloween week, as well as another one from the blood-curdling line of Ubisoft's Imagine titles, this time with Imagine Babyz Fashion. Headlining the line-up though would be Jak & Dexter for the PSP, the multi-platformer Lego Rock Band, and the new Need for Speed offering for handhelds, NFS: Nitro. Clawing his way into DLC form is Black Panther hoping to get some action in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2. He's also known as T'Challa, chief of the Wakandan Panther clan, and husband to Halle Berry Storm. Once Activision sets the date, he'll also be known as a downloadable character.

The 27th annual Golden Joysticks Awards were announced in London earlier today, giving props to the games that shaped the industry in the past year. Sitting on top of them is Fallout 3 (PS3, Xbox 360, PC) receiving top honors as the Ultimate Game of the Year. Read up and find out who else made it big in the awards.

The NPD results are out for the month of September, and look at what we have here! A mighty and proud showing of PS3 sales finally taking over the spot beyond the Xbox 360 and the Wii -- for the first time ever. That's not to say that it topped all of the charts, though. A couple hundred thousands more till it successfully topples down the Nintendo DS from its # 1 spot.

We've got an even spread of game releases for this week's batch of On Shelves games, including a couple of downloadable ones. It may not have the same hoopla as E3 had, but the GamesCom sure is making the developers and publishers just as busy all the same. With their promised new wares, any event definitely is an opportunity to show what they've got -- and to impress.
