Sega releases line up for TGS 2007 - Image 1

The Tokyo Game Show is looming ever so near and we're prepping up for what the developers have in store for us. One such developer doesn't seem to want us guessing what they're offering come TGS: Sega. Sega's official website has been updated with their line-up for this year and we have to say the the list ain't too shabby. Not shabby at all.

Remember Ryu Ga Gotoku? It was better known as Yakuza on these and Europe's shores. Hopefully, we'll finally see a sequel (Ryu Ga Gotoku 2 doesn't really count as it was only released in Japan) and it's going to come busting to the PlayStation 3. It is currently called Ryu Ga Gotoku Kenzen and is scheduled for spring of next year.

Sega is pretty much loaded in titles for the PS3, DS, PS2, and Wii, while the Xbox 360 and PSP rosters are a bit bare. The titles to keep an eye on are Bleach: The Third Phantom, Battlefield of the Valkyrie, Sonic Rush Adventure, and Ghost Squad, among others. Anyway, here's the list with their respective ETAs courtesy of Siliconera.

PlayStation 3
  • Imabi Kisou - Oct. 25
  • Sega Rally - Jan 2008
  • Ryu Ga Gotoku Kenzen- Spring 2008
  • Battlefield of the Valkyrie - Spring 2008
  • The Golden Compass - Spring 2008
Wii
  • Ghost Squad - Oct 25
  • NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams - Dec 13
  • Mibiru & Tebri – Jan. 08
  • The Golden Compass - Spring 2008
  • Fushigi no Dungeon - Furai no Shiren 3: Karakuri Yashiki no Nemuri Hime - 2008
The rest of the list comes after the jump!

Saving Ichigo: Brawler - Image 1

Rukia has released a new PSP brawler for everyone to enjoy, and it's based on the Saving Ichigo game that we recently covered. In this game, known as Saving Ichigo: Brawler v0.1, you can dispense with the storyline and focus on all-out fighting goodness using characters from numerous animated shows, such as "Bleach" and "Naruto".

In this case, the cast can constantly expand depending on the number of sprite-based characters you can make, but the current build has Goku, Ichigo, Sasuke, Renji, and Rukia for use. As an added bonus, you can also engage in war on the QJ Forums, as you can see in the above screenshot.

Below are the controls for the game, because you'll definitely need them:
  • X= Attack1 (in game) pick options(in menus)
  • O= Block
  • Square= Attack2
  • Triangle= Jump
  • R= Special (in game) advance pass first menu (out of game)
In any case, give it a try for yourself and see how you like it. Enjoy!

Saving Ichigo - Image 1 Saving Ichigo - Image 2 Saving Ichigo - Image 3

It looks like someone out there in internet-land really loves Rukia Kuchiki from the animated series "Bleach". Over on our forums, Rukia completed what appears to be the first part of a Rukia Kuchiki-based fighting homebrew game, called Saving Ichigo Pt. 1.

In Saving Ichigo Pt. 1, Rukia is tasked with finding out where Ichigo went off to. Along the way, she meets other characters from different anime series, such as Sasuke from "Naruto" and Goku from "Dragon Ball Z", having to fight them to advance the storyline in the game.

Here are the game controls:
  • R= Advance through cutscenes
  • X= Special Attack(Can use only when meter is full, or when she stops attack)
  • O= Attack
  • Square= Block
  • Left and Right= move
Rukia, the game's developer, notes that there are only four levels though, so make each level count by thoroughly thrashing your foes with some Rukia-styled kung fu. Enjoy!

Nell Tu now part of Bleach: Heat the Soul 4 - Image 1Video game developer 8ing again updated the official website for Bleach: Heat the Soul 4, revealing Nell Tu as a playable character, as well as a partner character in the upcoming Bleach video game.

It was just a few days ago when we learned that popular characters Luppi and Wonderwice has been added as well. Anyway, who the heck is Nell Tu? For those of you not so familiar with the manga and anime series Bleach, Nell is actually a female Arrancar toddler who lives in the desert parts of Hueco Mundo.

She's with her adoptive hollow brothers Dondo Chakker and Pesshe as well as their pet Bawabawa. One of her remarkable abilities is to literally swallow attacks from her enemies and fire it back to them with even stronger force.

The remains of her hollow mask (the broken skull she wears on her head) enables her to do this. If you really want to know, she also has the ability to heal others using her saliva.

Bleach: Heat the Soul 4 was released in Japan on May 24. Exact release dates for North America and other markets are still to be confirmed.
