Guys, we're planning to go on a trip this December. In case you want to come along, we suggest you start packing your things now. We know it's just October but we are going on a bizarre, funky, frantic and fiendish journey. And please, don't forget your PSPs because you are going to need it for sure. Folks, we're going to Bliss Island!

Bliss Island

After being announced last month, developer Codemasters finally came up with the press release today together with the first preview video. Bliss Island is comprised of four mini-games that supports two-player action through PSP's wireless connection. Juggle, race, attack, defend and direct the critters by using only the analogue stick and an action button.

First of the mini-games is Fluffy Football which showcases two Zwoophs trying to outscore one another. The pitch is most interesting as it is blocked by boulders and littered by crabs. On the other hand, a blue and a red Zwooph are the stars of Brick Invaders. Objective of the game is to smash the most bricks colored the same as your chosen character.

Jump upwards through the forest while finding and gobbling hidden fruits in Forest Frenzy. Finally, Bee Racer features Hoshi’s pet bumblebee in a race through obstacle course gates.

Bliss IslandBliss Island is blissful indeed. This addictive compulsive action puzzler from from PomPom Software, creators of Mutant Storm, features Hoshi the Zwooph - a fluffy blue creature with a long trunk that enables him to blow precision puffs of air. Hoshi's ability is generally meant for making clouds for the tropical island, except for Fridays, in which he uses his puff-powers to compete in a series of games and challenges with other Zwoophs.

Utilize his unique control puffing method as he feeds the Jigoka monster fruits, save flowers from swarms of aphids or fight off marching blocks, against other Zwoophs through five different game modes.

You can download the full game trial through Funsta.com, giving players 60 minutes of free play, just enough to see Hoshi rock and roll his way through complex challenges designed to test even the best air-blowers. Packed with more than 90 levels of addictive gameplay, you will surely be huffing and puffing before you tire of this one.

There are rumors being blown about (excuse the pun) that it will not just be confined to the PC but will transcend to mobile phones and the PSP as well. A challenger to Loco Roco? I guess we'll soon find out.
