Capcom has released a new trailer for Monster Hunter Freedom Unite, the English version of the insanely popular Japanese original, Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G. The trailer's a collection of gameplay clips, which is actually even better than a pre-rendered CGI short. There are lots of monster fight clips and a look at the new town as well as the new farm. Be sure to watch it.

There we go. Finally a debut trailer for the PSP remake for Persona. It's been thirteen years now since its original release on the PSOne, so with some CGI animated sequences in tow, this spruced up classic should appeal to old and new fans alike.

You're probably used to it by now: every time Koei releases some screenshots for Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce, they don't hold back. This batch is no exception - it's friccin' huge, complete with gameplay shots, character renders, and even better, some stills of CGI cutscenes too! In other news (well, rumors, actually), we hear that a Strikeforce-themed PSP-3000 custom bundle may get a release in Japan!

Heh. I knew it. Trust your loyal Dissidia blogger (and FF geek par excellence!) to make a sound educated guess, mmm hmm. We finally have confirmation that Judge Gabranth from Final Fantasy XII will be joining the playable roster for Dissidia: Final Fantasy. Sorry guys, poll closed. I win. *wink*

It's Isaac's turn for some Piña Coladas, and that means I get to hoard the Dissidia news reporting for today (which is just as it should be! Ha!). Here's the first one: the new TV commercial for Dissidia: Final Fantasy. The game's just around the corner for Japan (and still probably around 200 more corners for the eager fans waiting for a western release) and this TV spot couldn't come at a better time to tell the J-market of its December 18 release.

Kefka finally shows his creepy face! Yep, the evil psycho clown of FF6 was confirmed last month to join the sinister gang in Dissidia: Final Fantasy, but it's only now that we finally get to see him. Ever wondered how he got those scars? Check out the extended Dissidia trailer in the full article for more footage from the game; battles, CGI, and cast shots (well, sort of)! And we promise... no gruesome scenes of disappearing pencils!

Sony Computer Entertainment has sent word that they've selected Shuhei Yoshida as their new World Wide Studios president. Yoshida will be replacement Phil Harrison, who left the company last February. Details regarding this announcement are in the full article.

Do we really need to re-visit the Final Fantasy VII universe? After that movie where everyone hopped around all over the place while three silver-haired bikers looked for their mum, we're not quite sure that we do. Now that Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII is here, however, we'd have to say that this part of the Final Fantasy series needs a look back on - a very long, hard one. The Game Factory and Neko Entertainment's Code Lyoko: Quest for Infinity is coming to the Sony PlayStation Portable and the Sony PS2 this June and there are a lot of this waiting for us in this iteration of the French CGI animated series.
