Heads up hunters! Capcom has released a brand new downloadable quest for Monster Hunter Freedom Unite that will surely test your skills and abilities. Challenge Quest08 will pit G-Rank  hunters against three tough monsters in the Moat Arena. But wait, before you head out to the quest, be sure to download the latest bonus goodies of the game. Now here's something great for the toy-loving gamer. The Kaiyodo Hobby Lobby store in Japan recently saw two cool figures based from Capcom's Sengoku Basara games: Yukimura Sanada and Date Masamune. Unlike the stiff figures we usually see, these guys are poseable, and best of all, doesn't come at an insane price. Check 'em out.

The success of Capcom's Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G pretty much ensures the eventual release of another PSP entry in the franchise. During the Monster Hunter Festa finals, Capcom announced just that.

The last PlayStation Store update saw the addition of a few more games available via Legacy, some of which were from Rockstar Games. Starting October 22nd, those titles will be in their very own storefront just like the ones that Capcom and EA already have.

The PSP Go remains a hot item this week. Nasayers still think it's going to fall flat on its non-face. Sony, for their part, is busy touting it as a success, throwing out some impressive -- yet ultimately still unsubstantiated -- sales numbers. While the "go or no go" tug of war is happening, unscrupulous types are capitalizing on the new handheld by releasing their own thinly-veiled knock off version. A post down at the Capcom Unity blog showed the dates on five more UMD Legacy titles that are supposed to hit the PlayStation Store spread across October and November. Unfortunately, the post has been taken down, so we're not quite sure if the re-releases will hit on the dates specified.

If you still haven't check the latest free DLC of Monster Hunter Freedom Unite, a brand new quest called Beasts of the Dunes is now available for all the hardcore hunters out there. According to Capcom, this hunt will pit you against two Copper Blagongas in the scorching hot desert so make sure to bring something with ice attribute. Good luck hunters!

Those who've already been to the PlayStation Store might've run into the new EA Sports category over there. Just like Capcom dating back to November in 2008 with the release of Age of Booty, EA Sports would be the second to have its own special storefront.

Capcom's tournament fighting RPG composed of an all-star development cast, Last Ranker,  made its video debut at the recently concluded Tokyo Game Show. See lead character Zig in action in a dramatic display of determination to get out from the last rank of soldiers in training, and on top of the competitive pile.

We know that when he's got good things to say, he'll say it. He was very vocal about his respect for Bungie. But when what he sees is not up to par, we now know he can be quite harsh about it. Keiji Inafune, father of Mega Man and Capcom's head of R&D, was less than impressed with what he saw at TGS 09, and this led him to believe that the Japanese gaming industry is finished.
