PSP Homebrew - Image 1 You guys will recall that yesterday's release of Coolj's 3.71/2 screenshot plugin still had a bug in it that didn't let users take Tekken 5 screenshots when a match was ongoing. Well, Yus has informed us that Coolj's fixed the problem and has rolled out another bugfix to complement the one released earlier.

PSP Slim - Image 1Looks like there's a new PSP custom firmware in town! Here's the latest release of _HellDashX_: Custom Firmware 3.72 HX-1. It's built off of Dark AleX's 3.71 M33-2 custom firmware, and though DAX himself might be "retired", at least CFWs are still very much alive!

The maker of Anti Update for the PSP Slim plugin clues in reverse engineering feats and future interface changes., but perhaps you'd be more interested to head on over to the links for the download and the release forums at QJ.NET. Read on to find them.

Anti Update for PSP Slim - Image 1 Anti Update for PSP Slim - Image 2

Homebrew mainstay Coolj dropped by our forums to release Anti Update for the PSP Slim & Lite. This prx plugin allows you to hide the UMD update icon. Which is cool for those guys with fidgety fingers that might accidentally push buttons away without intending to update their PSP firmware. Oh, the hassle.

Coolj gives credit to Team tOc and _HellDashX_. This plugin from Coolj actually comes from the original code from Team tOc, which _HellDashX_ reverse engineered. For those asking, Coolj says that _HellDashX_'s reversed source isn't made available to the public. Now, Coolj's made it available to work on the Slim.

If you guys need help or have any questions, you may visit the forum release thread linked below.

PSP Slim - Image 1Here's another update for Ketchup's Screenshot Plugin for 3.71 M33. Just like the one released by Coolj, this plugin lets PlayStation Portable users take screenshots of games and applications while running Team M33's custom firmware 3.71.

This update was made specifically for those who had issues with using the PSP's Hold button to take screenshots. In this version, the keypress combination used for taking screenshots is R+L+Start.

If you're looking to make reviews, guides or simply want to show others what your XMB or your own homebrew projects look like, this is a must-have. Please remember to be very careful when enabling this plugin. For more info, you can click on the Via link below or check out our PSP Development forums.

Reboot-Shutdown PRX for CFW 3.71 M33 - Image 1Homebrew developer Coolj just released a reboot/shutdown plugin for custom firmware 3.71 M33 that will allow users to reboot or shutdown straight from the Update icon. This comes just a few days after the developer released another plugin for the PSP Slim & Lite just a few days ago, which Coolj says may be updated in the near future.

RTRIGGER and X will be your new best friends with this tool. At the Update icon, just press X to reboot your PlayStation Portable (or the Slim & Lite), while shutdown would need RTRIGGER and X both pressed. The installation is pretty straightforward, though we'll still leave it to the bundled documentation to inform users how to load the PRX file.
