Fresh from acquiring assets to dip themselves into the casual gaming market, "creative hub" publisher THQ will now set out to raise the curtains off their much broader lineup of games for fiscal year 2009. And aside from tending some exclusive titles for the Nintendo Wii, THQ has a couple of mainstream franchises piled up for a comeback. Japanese video game developer and publisher Irem has come out with some new updates for its upcoming platformer on the PlayStation Portable, Ikuze Gensan. The game's official website has added a few new entries talking about some of the features gamers can expect to see when the game goes live this Spring. One of the biggest additions is the game's ability to support communication play via Ad Hoc mode.

Famous producer Jerry Bruckheimer finally confirms at his National Treasure: Book of Secrets party that he's planning to make a movie from the popular video game from Ubisoft, Prince of Persia. And who else will take on the task of this video game adaptation? None other than Harry Potter: Goblet of Fire director Mike Newell.
