To celebrate the launch of PSP Go, SCEA has decided to update the PlayStation Store a day early. PSP Go owners as well as the die hard PSP gamers will surely have plenty of reasons to celebrate this week as Sony promises to release over a hundred new PSP games including the PSP minis, that is now available for download. But if you're a PS3 owner, don't worry, there are plenty of stuff waiting for you. 

While we have yet to hear of any concrete details regarding the PSN Game Cards for the UK PSP Go when it launches next month, at least we can cling on to the confirmation of Sony UK that there will indeed be PSN Game Cards coming to the region.

Imagine it's October 1. The PSP Go is out and in your hands. So what kind of content can you look forward to downloading. According to Sony, you can get your pick from almost 16,000 pieces of downloadable content. They've also revealed something that retailers can get behind: PlayStation Network Game Cards.

Those who've already gotten their copies of Disgaea 2: Dark Hero Days got a little worked up over a DLC-related error message that appeared in the game when saving or loading. Fear not, level-grinders! NIS America sent word that the error message will not harm your gameplay or any DLC you may download in the future. To prove that and to appease those who've been itching to hit Level 1000 already, they're handing out the game's first DLC free of charge.

Adding DLC on Final Fantasy XIII (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3) is not the only thing that Square Enix is taking into consideration. Yoshi Kitase reveals that they are in fact considering putting downloadable content to future Final Fantasy titles. Read more after the jump.

Woot. What's to look forward to this year for the PSP? Yeah sure, Dissidia's on top of my list, but what else is there? True enough, there are unannounced titles already being worked on - and consider this a confirmation! Lots and lots of confirmation, that is! Following last week's announcement of PS3's 2009 line-up, we now have SCEA's PSP press release: LittleBigPlanet, MotorStorm, Rock Band - all confirmed! Plus an all-new Assassin's Creed too! We also get to see a new PSP color too! Some Lilac luvin' for the ladies, mmm hmm!

Big things up for Square Enix! They've just set up shop in LA, and in an interview, SE US president John Yamamoto has confided their plans: the LA studio is going digital. He also revealed the general direction the corporation is going - global markets and what not. But in what could be called as one of the boldest statements ever made in the industry, he's already declaring the exclusivity war officially over. Like whoa.

SCEJ's little dungeon management game, Yuusha no Kuse ni Namaikida or 2, is getting downloadable content. More stages and edible heroes for all!

The last time we saw this dastardly duo, they were up in the alps. This week, the pair of Rajang apes are back in the arena for another round as Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G's new downloadable content for Japan. This week's DLC also coincides with the re-release of the MHP 2nd G in retail, but this time under Japan's "The Best" label for the PSP (which already includes the likes of Jeanne d'Arc and Tekken: DR).
