EA Sports - Image 1The comments made by Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick about how 2K Sports titles are out-rating EA Sports games in reviews seem to have gotten to EA Sports boss Peter Moore. Peter blogged recently about how competitive their line-up is and he spoke of how franchises like NBA Live will put on a ground-breaking show when E3 2008 comes. More details in the full article.

Transformers: The Game screenshots - Image 1

The website for Transformers: The Game has already been launched, and in all honesty, it's looking just great. Loading up the site gives you the option to either Enter the Site or Enter Battle (whatever that may be since the Enter Battle section isn't open yet...).

Entering the site allows one to view the game's features, as well as videos and images from the game, and even the developers' blog. The opportunity to join the Beta testing of "Battle for the AllSpark" can also be found here, by clicking on the button found at the bottom of the screen. This particular bit really drew our attention since we have been waiting for a game like this ever since we were kids. No word has been given on when the full version of the web game will be available, but you can keep checking for it via our read link below.

Lastly, Activision also released some new screenshots for the game which shows the new Bumblebee in various stages of kicking Decepticon butt. The graphics are looking as polished as ever and we can't wait to get our hands on the game.

SUper Dungeon 32 compilation/mod - Image 1

Lots of people have gone and modded charnold's PSP Dungeons into their personal variants - Frack, Serious, and so forth. This one comes from a different angle. dejkirkby in our forums - a.k.a. VettaCossX-AlphA in The Playground forums - has five of those mods in his PSP, and after switching from one to the other, decided, why not string them all together into one compilation?

(Hey, before anyone complains here, he gives due props and credit to everyone responsible for the original mods, going all the way back up to charnold for starting PSP Dungeons in the first place. Amped down? Proceed...)

The end result is Super Dungeon 32: a compilation of Be3f's Serious Dungeons and Dark Dungeons, Drew Medina's Dru Mod 2, Frack Mod 2 from Frack, and Vetta's own Halo Dungeons, into one 32-level shootout (which puts the 32 in Super 32). It's probably not just a simple compilation: . As Vetta puts it: all the weapons, all the models, all the aliens and enemies you love to pulp - in one game.

Visit the QJ forums to learn more about it, and to download the mod.

DruMod in action!Drew Medina recently informed our forum-going population of the release of a new beta of his DruMod, which is based on Charnold's PSP Dungeons.

This version, which he calls PSP Dungeons DruMod 2 "RadioSi" is his second PSP mod, taking some of the characteristics of the previous Dungeon mods and creating his own textures, weapons, and audio for pretty much everything. Version 2, like his first DruMod outing, also requires you to delete PSP Dungeons 3D v0.6 as he uses a new eBoot for this mod.

This homebrew supports twice the resolution of other dungeon mods at 256x256, though at the cost of using twice the memory. On the other hand, it's one of the nicest looking homebrews we've seen. The map is small though, so you may run out of enthusiasm for running around this one level quickly, but it does promise to make future releases a lot more exciting.

It's currently tested to work on PSPs with 1.5 firmwares, so if you know what else can run it, or are willing to try, let him know through our forums or on his site. Better still, you can also view a streaming preview of his game, as he's placed a link on our forums to his little video of the game in action.

His installation instructions are simple though: Copy the entire Dungeons folder into "PSPGAME" folder, so you should see something like "PSPGAMEDungeons" and "PSPGAMEDungeons%". Just remember to read the forums if you're new to installing homebrew. We don't want our readers mucking up their PSPs. Enjoy!

Drew, from our forums, have released his first mod on the PSP. His PSP Dungeons 0.6 'Dru Mod' 1.0 contains only one level. But nonetheless, he still deserves credit, 'cos all background art replaced with my custom made textures. That ain't exactly easy to pull off, you know.

Anyhow, he says that if you have the PSP Dungeons 3D v0.6 installed, you'd have to delete that one, coz this mod uses a new eboot. Also, this runs on 1.5, but he just can't be too sure as for the higher version. Okay, now to get this mod to your PSP, simply copy the entire Dungeons folder into PSPGAME.

It'll look something like this: PSPGAMEDungeons.

So there. Enjoy the mod, kudos to Drew, and he says huge thanks to Charnold for PSP Dungeons 3D v0.6.
