Nothing official has issued forth from the mouths of Konami representatives yet, but the Silent Hill overhaul, Silent Hill: Shattered Memories (PS2, PSP, Wii), may be facing a bit of a delay. Kotaku reports that listings from online retailers GameFly and GameStop now have the game's release pegged at about a month later than the date it was originally slated for.

With the release date announcement for Warriors Orochi 2. coming early this month, Koei announces more details that will accompany the PSP port at launch now that the publisher officially puts it on gold status. United Front Games' ModNation Racers is the next title under the "Play, Create, Share" banner that LittleBigPlanet kicked off. With LittleBigPlanet already coming to the PSP, is a handheld version of ModNation Racers also in the works? Gamefly thinks so.

Word has it that Mastiff is in the process of bringing a new tactical RPG to the PlayStation Portable. The game listing was spotted on Gamefly, but there's hardly any details on this rumored game. Well, the wait may not be that long as some new updates have recently been spotted hinting of the possible release date of Star Ocean: The First Departure and Star Ocean: The Second Evolution in North America. The results are in for GameFly's most requested games for the week ending September 7. Last week's "All platforms" chart sees Midway Games' Stranglehold overtaking 2K Games' Bioshock, which has sunk to fourth place. Second in the list is Electronic Art's (EA) Medal of Honor: Airborne, with Bungie Studio's Halo 3 sitting comfortably at third. Meanwhile, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare caps the list at number five.

As some readers may have noticed, last week's most wanted has effectively been dominated by 360 titles. You may also notice below that the 360-specific chart is exactly the same as the "All platforms" chart.

For the other top picks in their specific platform chart, we have Nintendo's Metroid Prime 3: Corruption going strong as the most wanted for the Wii console, with Ninja Theory's Heavenly Sword making its cut as the PlayStation 3's top pick. For the portables, The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass holds first place for the DS; Capcom's Monster Hunter Freedom 2 is currently the PSP's most wanted game.
