PS3 - Image 1The NPD results are out for the month of September, and look at what we have here! A mighty and proud showing of PS3 sales finally taking over the spot beyond the Xbox 360 and the Wii -- for the first time ever. That's not to say that it topped all of the charts, though. A couple hundred thousands more till it successfully topples down the Nintendo DS from its # 1 spot.

Guitar Controller - Image 1 Game consoles have been inundated by a whole slew of rhythm game releases in the past few years, and there are even more on the way. Rock Band Unplugged - Image 1If Retribution and Resistance 2 had some form of "Infected mode", could Rock Band have something similar? An ability to share songs between platforms or unlock special content, perhaps? In case some of you guys were hoping for this, Harmonix and MTV Games wants you to know that Rock Band: Unplugged for the PSP will definitely be unplugged. Unplugged from the PS3 version, that is.

He didn't deny it, he didn't confirm it either, but quite frankly, he says it's possible because LBP is PlayStation-friendly, overall. Don't blink just yet. Aside from that, Koller also dropped some hints stating that the Rock Band and Guitar Hero franchises may also find themselves on PSP gamers' hands in the future.
