Ryan Payton - Image 1Ryan Payton has just revealed that he's leaving Kojima Productions. After working on MGS Portable Ops and Metal Gear Solid 4, this guy has clearly made a lasting footprint in the history of video game development. Leaving is always a heartbreaking thing, and though he would have been a shoe-in for development on the so-called MGS5 (which he seems to have already confirmed, to a degree), Payton will be taking it easy for now. QuickJump QuickPeek 41 - Image 1(Editor's Note: Happy April Fools'! You'd think we'd run skimpy with all the non-news items, but actually, this might be our biggest issue yet!)

Y'know how notorious the gaming community could get during this time of the year. But in between rumors and Metal Creed Solid gags, this here QuickPeek 41 is one heck of a colossus. Dark AleX is back, Jade Raymond makes a cameo, and Niko Bellic's got quite a lot of action cut out for him in GTA 4. Mind the Whoopie cushions! Wohoo!

Hideo Kojima - Image 1That's right, Assassin's Creed producer Jade Raymond and Metal Gear creator Hideo Kojima went one on one in an interview. Unfortunately, they didn't talk about a cross-over between Altair and Solid Snake. They did discuss about game development, so check out the full article for more details.

Assassin's Creed - Image 1

Jade Raymond, producer of Assassin's Creed, has mentioned the possibility of making an installment of Assassin's Creed for handhelds.

Raymond wants to create a game that will fully take advantage of the benefits inherent to handheld gaming. "We want to make a real plan where you can make a game, you make a book, you know, maybe other types of portable games that have complementary experiences,"  said Raymond.

Currently, the game has only been announced for the Playstation 3 and the Xbox 360 but Assassin's Creed is also expected to hit other platforms such as the PC. Interestingly enough, GameStop even has a listing of a DS version of Assassin's Creed on its website. Hmm.

Buy: [Assassin's Creed (Xbox 360)]
Buy: [Assassin's Creed (PS3)]
