You asked, they listened. Dynasty Warriors fans have long been filling Koei suggestion boxes with tweaks and features to improve the beat-'em-up, so Koei steps up to plate with yet another addition to the franchise. Dynasty Warriors Strikeforce, available for the PSP and recently dated for the PS3 and Xbox 360, is getting a sequel.

Sony's giving out a big firmware double-whammy to celebrate the PS3's third birthday. With Firmware 3.10 coming out for the PS3 today, Sony's following it up with the release of FW 6.20 for the PSP tomorrow in Japan.

More news from this weeks issue of Famitsu. It seems like Eye of Judgement, the unique turn-based card game for the PlayStation 3 platform is getting a handheld incarnation.

Famitsu.com has broken the news on a new entry in Taito's Estpolis series. If the name doesn't ring a bell, the series was released outside Japan as "Lufia". The new game will be called Estpolis: The Land Cursed by the Gods and will be produced by the original game's development staff. Square Enix will be handling publishing duties.

After the announcement made just last week about the arrival of Arc System's BlazBlue on the PSP that sent all you fanboys abuzzing, we now have some more new details as well as screenshots for your first look in the game.

Ah. First off let me just say that this Weekend Warrior is a particularly short one. But hey, we still heard some good PSP news over the week. Konami's finally announced that they're working on English demos for Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, and for those that can read Japanese there's a God Eater demo on the way. It's numbers time again! The latest hardware sales figures from Japan's Media Create has been release, and competition is getting tighter as the PS3 inches closer and closer to the top, needing only about a thousand more units before overtaking the long-reigning DSi.

The powers and resources of the NPD, Enterbrain, and GfK Chart-Track have all come together and the results are in - Dragon Quest IX dominated the global sales charts spanning over three months ending September of this year.
