PSP Weekend Warrior - Image 1Ah. First off let me just say that this Weekend Warrior is a particularly short one. But hey, we still heard some good PSP news over the week. Konami's finally announced that they're working on English demos for Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, and for those that can read Japanese there's a God Eater demo on the way. Best news so far this week for me, though, is BlazBlue PSP. Hit the jump for this week's PSP Weekend Warrior edition.

. - Image 1We've got a bunch of mystery games for you this Halloween week, as well as another one from the blood-curdling line of Ubisoft's Imagine titles, this time with Imagine Babyz Fashion. Headlining the line-up though would be Jak & Dexter for the PSP, the multi-platformer Lego Rock Band, and the new Need for Speed offering for handhelds, NFS: Nitro. Oh, and Band Hero featuring Taylor Swift is also here. Hopefully there'll be no Kanye to interrupt your game this time. Check out the full list in the full article.

PSP Weekend Warrior - Image 1Yes, the PSP Go is still making headlines. The problem is, the main one we heard this week wasn't exactly flattering. The Go has been getting a mostly lukewarm reception since its launch earlier this month, and the trend continues in Australia. There's a silver lining, though: overall PSP sales have reportedly gone up since the Go hit retail. Sony most probably have software sales to thank for that. Oh, and maybe the Go's making people buy PSP-3000s. Just speculating. For the facts, hit the jump and check out this week's PSP Weekend Warrior.

Silent Hill: Shattered Memories - Image 1Nothing official has issued forth from the mouths of Konami representatives yet, but the Silent Hill overhaul, Silent Hill: Shattered Memories (PS2, PSP, Wii), may be facing a bit of a delay. Kotaku reports that listings from online retailers GameFly and GameStop now have the game's release pegged at about a month later than the date it was originally slated for.

PSP and DS - Image 1We've been so attuned to the hardware sales charts the past couple of weeks, thanks to Media Create, so for a change, let's veer our sights to softwares. For the week of September 14-20, Pokemon Soul Silver and HeartGold take spots number 1 and 2, respectively.

Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker - Image 1Think you know all there is to know about the world of Metal Gear? Well, maybe you do after you've read everything in the free downloadable MGS4 Database five times over. All the same, you really can't get enough of Metal Gear, but since Old Snake is too frail and cranky to star in another game, we'll be taking a look at who will be in the PSP prequel, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. If you don't mind meeting the whole cast, let's have a look-see right here.
