Homebrew developer Lejournal released a new demo for his upcoming project that is as good and as dainty as his previous release Chocobo Run v0.1. The project is known as TamaSky and is inspired by the 90s craze Tamagotchi. Here, players adopt a virtual pet which they must nourish, feed, and clean.

TamaSky Demo v0.0 still has limited features but even so, it is very playable and as good as a full homebrew release. Some of those worth mentioning include (the list was translated from French using an online translator):
  • Screen titrates
  • Choice of only one Egg for the moment
  • Filling of the mess tin
  • Cleaning of the needs
  • Appearance of the needs for the animal by chance
  • Safeguard of the state of the animal
  • Animation of the cloud in the content of the screen
Lejournal mentioned that users don't have to keep their PlayStation Portable units running for Tamasky to advance because it was synched with the handheld's internal clock.

French developer Lejournal came up with a fun game featuring the Final Fantasy series' well-loved creature, the Chocobo. It is called Chocobo Run and this is actually the homebrew game's first public release. Aside from being fun, the game also tests one's skills in pressing buttons.

Basically, the objective of Chocobo Run is to have the flightless bird reach the other side of the course. You will be able to do this by performing button presses that correspond to the ones displayed on top of the screen. In the event that you press the wrong button, the Chocobo will move one step backwards.

Of course, you have to finish the course in the shortest time possible and with the least mistakes. Speaking of which, you are only entitled to commit three mistakes in every course. There's still no time limit when pressing buttons but Lejournal mentioned that it will be available in the next build alongside other additional features.
