The 27th annual Golden Joysticks Awards were announced in London earlier today, giving props to the games that shaped the industry in the past year. Sitting on top of them is Fallout 3 (PS3, Xbox 360, PC) receiving top honors as the Ultimate Game of the Year. Read up and find out who else made it big in the awards.

It's official folks! Sony has announced that the much awaited handheld version of LittleBigPlanet will finally hit the store shelves on November 17. But that's not all, SCEA also revealed the final packaging of the game for North America. Check it out after the jump.

To celebrate the launch of PSP Go, SCEA has decided to update the PlayStation Store a day early. PSP Go owners as well as the die hard PSP gamers will surely have plenty of reasons to celebrate this week as Sony promises to release over a hundred new PSP games including the PSP minis, that is now available for download. But if you're a PS3 owner, don't worry, there are plenty of stuff waiting for you. 

Well here we go again. With barely one week left before the scheduled launch of PSP Go, Kotaku Australia is reporting that the nation's largest games retailer, EB Games, is refusing to stock the PSP Go. According to the site, several stores in Sydney have confirmed that the PSP Go is not currently listed on their database and EB will not support the new PSP iteration.

If, by some chance, you happen to be in Tokyo on the days of the Tokyo Game Show, drop by so you can check out some of the wares being shown off for Sony's PSP and PS3 consoles. Trivia time! Did you know that LittleBigPlanet (PS3, PSP) was supposed to be under the name of "Craft World"? Yep, that's right. That was the working title of the now-famed world of the Sackfolks. Thanks to some office cleaning, Media Molecule unearthed a little piece of treasure reminding them of their first tiny steps into Sony's office to pitch the game.

The latest European PlayStation Store update is now available. This week's content includes a Crash Commando fill game price cut,  three new downloadable games featuring Smash Cars and Battle Tanks, playable demos of F.E.A.R. 2: Reborn and NHL 10 and more.
