He's a future astrophysicist, a martial artist, a College Degree holder
at the age of 11, and he doesn't like video games. Child prodigy Moshe
Kai Cavalin graduated with honors from East Los Angeles Community
College just last week, and made it known to the world that he thinks
video games are "a waste of time." |

The Swine Flu (now officially known as the H1N1 virus) is proving to
cause a huge damper on the upcoming E3 festivities. With just literally
a couple of weeks before the curtains rise to start what could be the
biggest games show of the year, we have attendees going over the list
and checking it twice, for fear of the said virus. Capcom Japan would be one such attendee. |

Big day today for aspiring LittleBigPlanet
creators. There's a new free pack containing some creation tutorials on
the US PlayStation Store. Should be useful for those who want to learn
more about creating their own stages in LittleBigPlanet. The PSP version of the PlayStation Store still continues to be sparse,
but at least there's a new downloadable game there in the form of Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters. A full list is available after the jump. |

As rumors would have it, Electronic Arts has shut down the Brisbane,
Australia office of Pandemic Studios. Says a "reliable source", the
shut down was more of a "find a new publisher" thing, rather than a "sorry, we'll have to kill you off" scenario. |

Things are looking up for Eidos, which had a very tough year. The owner of the Tomb Raider franchise is being courted by several big names, including the titan studio Square Enix, who's looking to expand with more titles that appeal to Western tastes.Well if Lara doesn't appeal to Western tastes I don't know what does. |

A US-based Square Enix Studio is to be erected in El Segundo, Los Angeles. Naturally, they're going to need to staff it and Xbox and Wii dev teams are at the top their list. (After product managers, of course. You really need those guys too.) |
