Homebrew coder cooleyes has released a new update for PMPlayer Advance, an alternative  media player for the PSP. The latest update has added support for Custom Firmware 5.50GEN-B and PSP-1000 users.

Homebrew developer cooleyes has released a new build of PMPlayerAdvance. The new update for this homebrew media player application for the PSP adds a new subtitle format.

Quite a big changelog for this release of Winnydows, including the addition of the media encoder module, which uses DirectShow technology. You can add filters and various and system codecs to this new feature, plus adjust the parameters of each component.

Winnydows has released a new version of XviD4PSP, the popular video converter for the Sony PlayStation Portable handheld gaming console. XviD4PSP v5.052 beta includes additional encoding formats, more lossless profiles and AVI Hardware and AVI Hardware HD formats. It also lets users create mono and 5.1 files. PSP homebrew developer lefbe has just announced the release of a media application we imagine videophiles in the community will take a shine to.

This new app is dubbed Unlimited Video For PsP v1.3, and is a Windows-based video encoder capable of encoding the following video resolutions: 368x208 (Fm 2.0+), 480x272 fw (3.03 OE-B and above), and 720x480 (Firmware 3.30 and above). As for the application's changelog:
