We just had the release of PSP Content Manager v1.5 by uFox earlier today for Windows users. Here comes another PSP homebrew organizer, this time for Mac users. Thanks to the release of Team S.F.I's Mac Content Manager Beta, you no longer have to install all your homebrew manually using your Mac OSX operating system. This content manager manages your homebrew games and applications, and it also includes an option to install Dark_Alex's amazing 2.71 SE-B firmware! Here's the changelog: Current features

Dagowatt, a coder from the iR Shell forums, has released a new updated version of his nethostfs application for use with Ahman's recently released homebrew shell program for the PSP, iR Shell v2.1. nethostfs allows iR Shell to interface with your PC and load files from it. It permits you to view and execute applications using files from your PC via a WiFi connection - just like having your PC hard drive in your memory stick slot. This latest version is a Mac OSX port for nethostfs v1.5. It is currently in a beta stage and as such may include a few bugs. The only known bug at the moment means if you listen to a .mp3, you can not open .JPG files from your PC. This has been tested with iR Shell v2.1, but any bugs should be reported to Dagowatt in order to improve this program for future releases. Have fun browsing your PC with your PSP - no wires required! If you don't have a WiFi router, remember that you can find the Mac OSX version of usbhostfs (the same as nethostfs but using the USB cable instead of Wi-Fi) here. Dagowatt from the iR Shell forums has released a couple of applications for users of iR Shell that use the Mac operating system on their PC. These applications are USBhostfs and nethostfs, the two applications that allow iR Shell to interface with your PC and load files from it. Both of these were included with the latest release of AhMan's iR shell v1.6, but until now were only compatible with Windows and Linux. USBhostfs allows you to view and execute applications using files from your PC via USB cable, with nethostfs doing the same but via WiFi. It's like having your PC hard drive in your memory stick slot! nethostfs for Mac OSX v0.5B Features: - Copy files or directories from MS0: - Launch Homebrew Applications from server (your PC) - Bookr Plugin works Bugs: - Zip/RAR plugin currently not working USBhostfs for Mac OSX v0.02B Features: - iR Shell plugin Compatible (Open Zip, Rar, JPG, TXT etc.) - DevHook USB mod compatible - Progress indicator to show data sending Bugs: - No MP3 Playback as of yet - Copying .jpg images to MS0: currently corrupts the file As you can see, not all of the features are currently working on Mac OSX, but this is a great start! Dagowatt is continuing to work on this so expect more updates in the future! Download: [nethostfs for Mac OSX v0.5B] Downlaod: [USBhostfs for Mac OSX v0.02B] |
