Last time we gave you guys Super Spy 48. In celebration of the series hitting the big five-oh mark, we're bringing you chapters (installments? numbers? which is more appropriate?) 49 and 50. If you remember, Super Spy is currently on a long nine-part segment called "The End," of which SS 48 was Part 4. While it follows that SS 49 would be Part 5, SS 50 is actually four parts in one. It collects Parts 6 through 9 of "The End," and I'm afraid this might be the last in the series. We checked out Matt Kindt's Super Spy website as well as Top Shelf's website, but there were no news whatsoever regarding Super Spy's literal end, so maybe I'm just being paranoid. Anyway, download 'em both below and enjoy. Download: [Super Spy #49 - "The End: Part 5 of 9"] Download: [Super Spy #50 - "The End: Part 6 to 9"] |

Can't get enough of PSP magazines, can ya? Looking to take a break from gaming to just sit back and fiddle around your PSPs? Well, we have great news for you then. Zoolook has just released the first issue of their graphic novel series called Hitless. Here's the basic premise and storyline of the novel: On May 7, 1975, six college students (under the direction of Dr. Grant Parker) were recruited by a covert branch of the CIA to participate in a top secret government project. Their assignment? To assist in the development of an exoskeleton stealth suit equipped with advanced technologies that would arm and protect field agents of the 21st century as they carried out clandestine operations throughout the world. They continue working on the project in secrecy, with the CIA neither confirming nor denying the existence of the project... Eerie, huh? Assisting in a project that you're not even sure if it actually exists. And with stunning illustrations (as you can see from the image above), Hitless can definitely give you the "break" that you need and just let you chill with your handhelds. And if you're really into eerie comics and novels, you also might want to check out Matt Kindt's Super Spy standalone novels, they're really good too. So anyway, to get a copy of Hitless "Ambush," all ya have to do is hit the download link below and you're all set. Enjoy! Download: [Hitless Issue #1: "Ambush"] |

For the guys who've just read through Matt Kindt's Super Spy 41 "Looking in a Mirror" online comic, and couldn't wait for part two, we've just gotten the dead-drop for Super Spy 42 "Looking in a Mirror" part 2. There has been storytelling trend going on for some time now. If you've noticed, there are a number of self-contained, sufficient-by-its-own stories. These are rather short and deal with a single event that happened. Surprisingly, should a reader comes across another story, he or she will find that the two are actually connected. Then another is found and then another until a whole universe of story is created. Matt Kindt's Super Spy comics is no exception. Updated weekly, each release is composed of at least 20 to 25 pages. Every week, a new topic is discussed. All these however, are consistent and related critically acclaimed graphic novel 2 Sisters: A Super Spy Graphic Novel. It won't be a problem then in case this is your first time with Kindt's creation. Instead of being at a lost, you'll probably find yourselves looking for more. This week's offering is called "The Conversation." Tell us what you think and we'll gladly cover more of these for you. Download: [Super Spy: The Conversation] |

As we promised when we brought you issue #37, we're bringing you Matt Kindt's 38th installment of his weekly masterpiece creations called Super Spy. And this week, Kindt brings us "Spite", a story about the lead character's inner struggles with the violence he sees around him, yet having no will to even try and stop them. Described by some as dark and pensive, Kindt is one of the rare creative souls who dedicate his time to updating the Super Spy series. If this is the first time you're able to catch Kindt's works, you might wanna check out his previous works: "Voyeur", "Hospital", and "The Map" to get a feel of what the series is like. As we've been mentioning in our previous Super Spy coverage, each issue is a standalone story and can be read in and by itself. Thus, you don't have to worry about feeling a bit lost once you read one issue. However, all these stories fit together to create a bigger world, which also echoes well into Kindt’s critically graphic novel "2 Sisters: A Super Spy Graphic Novel" from Top Shelf. For Super Spy neophytes, we suggest you download this week's issue, and if you like it, rest assured we'll be bringing you next week's issue as well. Simply click on the download link below and you're all set to enter the world of Matt Kindt and the Super Spy adventures. Download: [Super Spy 38 "Spite"] |

We've given you "Voyeur" and "The Hospital," now we bring you "The Map," Matt Kindt's 37th installment in his Super Spy graphic novels for your beloved PSPs. Matt Kindt is one of those rare creatures who still manages to have the time to update his creations on a weekly basis, and based on his works that we've seen so far, it doesn't look like an easy job either. And while the illustrations in the drawing have a rather scary twisted vibe, this issue's plot is actually about a man who dares to cross national borders in search of his mother. Yes, it's your good old I-want-my-mommy drama, but still...not...quite. The page from the magazine that you see above shows our lead character getting in one of the many troubles that he gets himself into as he searches for his mother. The rest, we'll let you guys find out for yourselves. And for those not familiar with graphic novelist Matt Kindt's Super Spy series, each issue reads as a self-contained whole, but all of them fit together to create a larger world that the characters revolve around. As we said, he updates his series every week, so if you happen to like this one, make sure you check back with us next week because we might be bringing you the next issue as soon as it's released. To get your fill of spies, pen-guns, cyanide pills, and duplicitous shenanigans, just click on the download link below. Download: [Super Spy 37 "The Map"] |
