Here's something for your daily dose of cuteness. It's a new trailer from TGS 2009 showcasing the Sackboys building and cruising with their cars, for the PSP version of LittleBigPlanet.

Trivia time! Did you know that LittleBigPlanet (PS3, PSP) was supposed to be under the name of "Craft World"? Yep, that's right. That was the working title of the now-famed world of the Sackfolks. Thanks to some office cleaning, Media Molecule unearthed a little piece of treasure reminding them of their first tiny steps into Sony's office to pitch the game.

As promised, here's another gameplay footage from PAX 2009, courtesy of our event partners, Left4Friends. It's time to see the Sackfolks in action on the PSP, and yes, it's time to bring on the fun over as well. Check out LittleBigPlanet PSP's live footage from PAX after the jump.

Here's some good news for gamers who own both a PS3 and a PSP. Sony has confirmed that there will indeed be a degree of connectivity between the PS3 and PSP versions of Media Molecule's LittleBigPlanet.

The lucky people at Fase Extra recently got graced by Sony Spain with copies of Gran Turismo and LittleBigPlanet as well as a PSP Go to play them on. They've posted a pair of videos showing the two games in action on the Go along with some notes on how these big console games translate to the Sony handheld.

It feels like the calm before the storm is here. News has started to come in smaller amounts this week as we get closer and closer to next month's Electronic Entertainment Expo. Everybody's trying to keep their cards close to their vests so they can present the best E3 they can. Let's just all hope the awesome parts far outweigh the disappointing parts.
