Dr. NEO's NeoFlash Spring Coding Competition 2008 has finally come to a close with the announcement of the winning homebrew applications and games for the Sony PSP and the Nintendo DS. Some 76 homebrew applications and games were entered into the contest. Head over the full article to see the cream of the crop.

A new version is out for Nikwi Deluxe, the quirky homebrew game submitted by developer deniska for the Neoflash Spring Compo. This new build has a new level password feature, music tracks, along with other improvements. Check out all of the updates by following the "read more" link below.

Homebrew developer BlackShark recently dropped by the QJ.NET forums and released the latest version of Aap Lander. The new build of the game takes care of a couple of bugs found on various maps. A total of 76 entries were submitted during the recently concluded NeoFlash Spring Compo 2008 homebrew coding competition. A lot of interesting entries were seen over the past week and will certainly give the judges a tough time when the time comes for choosing each category's set of winners. Those who've been with QJ.NET for the past two years might remember one of the earlier homebrew releases called AgenaWorld from coder edepot. Homebrew coder TokyoDrift has entered a pretty nifty program into the ongoing NeoFlash Spring Coding Competition, and it's called Emu Loader. Like what some of of you might have guessed already, this compiles most of the emulators developed for the Sony PSP for easier access. Know more about this after the jump!

Here's another new entry for the NeoFlash Spring Compo 2008 competition - developer BlackShark came up with a PlayStation Portable version of the classic Lunar Lander title with Aap Lander. This particular homebrew game comes with its own map editor as well as an option to play your own .mp3 soundtrack during gameplay.
