Quick roll call of who we've had features on in the past few weeks: Dark AleX, AhMan, MaTiAz, FreePlay, Davee and, most recently, Noobz. Today we're shining the spotlight on one of the devs behind the big hacks, exploits, eLoaders, and downgraders for the PSP: Fanjita.

Let's see now - we've had the life and times of Dark AleX, the AhMazing AhMan, the silent but deadly MaTiAz, the free radical FreePlay, and the scene prodigy Davee. Now let's point the spotlight to one of the scene's most high-profile collection of superdevs. With their countless contributions to the grateful homebrew community and an unhappy Sony, it's only fitting that we pay tribute to "homebrew without a clue" - the great irony known as Team Noobz.

I don't know what's up with the scene now, but whatever it is, am liking it. It's raining news and updates, and thank god they're mostly for good games. Scratch that, I say they're GREAT games. We'll try to keep the chitchat to a minimum now, cos there's a lot in store for you in this issue of QuickJump QuickPeek. We're at #69, and your worlds are sure to go upside-down with delight, too.

While we all wait for more updates from the great minds behind the recent surge of HENs and exploits, here's your weekly dose of the biggest PSP homebrew-related news that hit the front page this week.

Inasmuch as the saying that "When a door closes, a window of opportunity  opens" is true, I guess the reverse of that holds just as much water as well. When a window opens, a door closes. Or something like that. While everyone is celebrating the highly successful TIFF exploit and HEN, Team Noobz is feeling a little downcast (although they too are celebrating!). Posting over at the Noobz site just now, Fanjita explains why they have mixed feelings about it. Check it out after the jump.

Just when we all thought there is no more hope for the PSP-3000, Fanjita comes back, and armed with a fully workable exploit for the unyielding PSP Brite. He's been quiet for some time now, but little did we know he's been up and about tweaking away on the Phantasy Star Portable exploit, which was only "potentially-an-exploit" by yyoossk just last week. Go, go go!!!

We know that he hardly needs any introduction, but are you sure you know him well enough? Join us as we take a look back at the life and times (so far!) of Dark AleX...

Though the original exploit and Sparta SDK that MaTiAz found on GripShift works on the NA, EU, and JAP versions of the game, the binary loader doesn't. They're currently working on all that (Go MaT! Go FreePlay! Go Noobz!), and so far, they've actually already pretty much solved the European version of the exploit.

The electric buzz of homebrew excitement is back in the air! The Noobz Team has confirmed that they will be joining forces with GripShift-exploiters MaTiAz and FreePlay to further develop the said exploit! It's a pre-announcement, which the Noobz Team don't normally do, but we're glad all the same for it.
