Minus the digital downloads, this has to be one of the smallest batches we've seen on On Shelves. Talk about a dry batch - no AAA titles in this lineup. Anyway, there's still ArmA II for the PC if you're a die-hard FPS fan, or if you're a baseball fan, 2K Sports' The Bigs is also coming out this week. RPG Fan is reporting that a first generation PS2 title comes to the PlayStation Portable in the form of Shadow of Memories (aka Shadow of Destiny in US). Some eight years since its original launch on the PS2 in 2001, Konami is now expanding the game experience by making it portable.

Seems like 2K Sports is rolling out the red carpet for the 10th anniversary of the NBA 2K franchise. Team Xbox reports that a special limited collector's edition of NBA 2K10 is in the works.

When publishers whip out screenshots, they usually come in groups. Today, however, says different. What we have now is the first screenshot of NBA 2K10 from 2K Sports, and yes, that's in singular. The PSP blog saw a nice healthy balance of hardware and software news this week. PSP owners have been clamoring for a new GTA game for a long time now. This week they finally got their wish. Those holding out for a lower price point for the PSP Go, however... well, I'll just advise you not to hold your breath for it as Sony is showing no sign of backing down on this one.
