The

Pasky13 has released an update to his CWCheat Database Editor application, now called CWCheat Database Editor v2.0. For those who haven't heard of it, CWCheat Database Editor v2.0 is an application that allows users to edit their CWCheat files and add new codes.

Here's what's new for this version of the app:
  • It is now possible to paste codes into the database.
  • Re-wrote the 'Download and Install CWcheat' function. It now downloads directly from CWCheat's homepage and should be faster.
  • Fixed where the application downloads the latest database file since the old host seems to have gone down.
  • Minor bug fixes throughout.
As always, please remember to check the readme file that comes with this application. Take it out for a trial run and see how it suits your needs, alright? Enjoy!

Pasky13 has updated CWCheat Database Editor v1.74 to turn it into the CWCheat Database Editor v1.82, showing off some additional features as well as some fixes from the previous version. For those who haven't heard of it, the CWcheat Database Editor allows users to edit your CWCheat files.

Here's the changelog for this version of his application:
  • Added menu to create a condensed code for both PSP and POPs. This is basically the same as a Multi-Code creator except that it only adds one code rather than all of them individually.
  • Added an error control check when editing an existing code. Didn't realize there wasn't one. (For both POPs and PSP modes)
  • Fixed the tab index if you're a tab browser like me. No more going from the Sort button to the code text ;P.
  • Fixed the text alignment on the floating point <-> hexadecimal text box.
  • New hotkeys if you don't like right clicking.:
    • F1 - Open Help File.
    • F2 - Add Game
    • F3 - Add Codename
    • F4 - Add Code
Pasky13 also noted that, to properly get the application to run, you'll need Microsoft's .NET 2.0 Framework, which you can also download below. In any case, give it a try and see what happens to your cheats when you're done.

PSP Homebrew coder and QJ.Net Forum resident pasky13 dropped by the threads earlier earlier to announce the release of CWCheat Database Editor v1.74. In case you weren't around during this homebrew's past few releases, it's a PC-based application designed to help you access, manage, and edit your CWCheat .db files on your PSPs. Moving on the this application's latest updates/changelog:
  • Floating Point (32-bit) <-> Hexadecimal conversion
  • Values are now displayed in decimal for existing codes
  • Changed where the database editor attempts to retrieve new versions of CWCheat. (I found some better hosting)
Enclosed in the bundle is a help menu, which would provide for any extra info users will need. Also be reminded that this application will need Microsoft's .NET 2.0 Framework 2.0 to run. With that said, we hope the guys who were awaiting CWCheat Database Editor's latest release enjoy their download - be sure to visit the pasky13's thread over at the QJ.Net Forums for more information. Enjoy!

CWCheat - Image 1It's been quite a while since pasky13 last updated his PSP homebrew app CWcheat Database Editor. So lest you feel you've been neglected and ignored by pasky, he's releasing v1.72 which mostly fixes the major bugs some of you guys have reported.

For CWcheat Database Editor neophytes, pasky13's brew is a PC-based app allows you to easily access, manage, and edit your CWCheat .db files.

pasky13 says he hasn't had the time to really sit down and concentrate on adding more features so this should serve as a temporary fix for all those who are looking for a better and bumped up version of the app. Also, he says he couldn't think of any new features to add so fellas, that's your cue to hit up pasky13 and clue him in on whatever ideas you may have brewing in your head.

Changelog:
  • Fixed a bug with detecting the PSP when using the CWcheat installer.
  • Fixed a bug with the installer looping through some checks unnecessarily, should speed the process up.

CWCheat Database Editor - Image 1

After bringing us v1.70 just yesterday, pasky13 is back once again with yet another bumped up version of his homebrew app for the PSP called CWcheat Database Editor. In case this is your first time to encounter this app, you need not look further than the app's name to know what it does.

Yep, this PC-based app allows you to easily access, manage, and edit your CWCheat .db files. Just a reminder though, you're gonna need Microsoft .NET 2.0 Framework to run this thing. If you don't have it yet, don't worry, you can download the framework thingy by clicking on the link above. That said, here's the changelog for v1.71.

Changelog
:
  • Fixed a bug when using the Multi-Code feature
  • If you were to use the Multi-Code function, the first code would have 4 extra characters tacked on.
  • Added a help file. I made this as user friendly as possible although it baffles me how many people could not figure out the basic workings of the application.

CWcheat - Image 1

Pasky is letting everybody know that his CWcheat Database Editor homebrew app just got another upgrade, and is now standing at version 1.7. This time around, the application carries a more user-friendly interface, being capable of downloading the latest version of CWcheat and CWcheatpops automatically - which should ease up things in case bug incidents like those found in version 1.55 occur again.

Here's the complete changelog:
  • Ability to now download and install the latest version of CWcheat and CWcheatpops automatically! Requires Firmware: 3.10-OE, and still requires the plugin to be enabled via the Recovery mode.
  • Automatically detects database type when loading a database file. Ability to switch manually still available.
  • Changes made to the UI. Removed the buttons below the code database as they are no longer necessary. The options they provided are available via right clicking on the code database
  • Fixed a bug when trying to add a joker code to a code with an existing joker code. Previously, this would add an additional joker code to the existing one. This has been fixed and when a joker code exists, the context menu changes to "Edit Joker Code".
  • Fixed a bug when using the 'Sort' button. Previously, after the database was sorted any additional items added afterwards were being sorted or if a new database were opened it would be sorted. This has been fixed.
As always, we advise users to check the README in the bundle for proper instructions. Also take note that you will need a UMD and Microsoft .NET 2.0 framework to get this PC-based .db manager running. You can find the DL link in the forum thread. Enjoy!

CWCheat Database Editor - Image 1

Homebrew coder Pasky dropped by our forums and left a note for all those who use CWCheat Database Editor. According to the developer, "If you downloaded v1.55, I highly suggest you upgrade the program. I made an error when making the joker command, I didn't realize the joker address is always the same for PSP games. It is now fixed."

That's good news but where is that fixed app? Why, in v1.60 of course. Pasky upgraded the nifty app and there are a few changes to it that are very useful. Here's the changelog:
  • Now able to download the latest official CWcheat database directly and open it for editing at user discretion.
  • Base convertor added to the hexadecimal calculator for those that don't know how to convert decimal to hex very well.
  • Icons have been cleaned up, interface should have a crisper look than before.
  • Shrinked the size of the loading forms, I thought they were unnecessarily big.
  • Large database files are loaded slightly faster.
  • More bug fixes. (It's a given....=P)
As always, you will need a UMD as well as Microsoft .NET framework 2.0 to use this editor. Thanks Pasky! This PC-based app has made management of CWCheat .db files so easy.

What's better than CWcheat Database Editor v1.4?  Easy, CWcheat Database Editor...version 1.55. Pasky (aka pasky13) has just dropped in to let the gamers among us know that he's just released this hot new update to his homebrew application, which should help us with our growing pile of files.

CWCheat Database Editor, for those not in the know, is a PC-based app that allows us easy-access and management of our CWCheat .db files. Moving on with the app itself, here is this version's changelog:
  • Multi-Code Creator added. It can be found by right clicking the Database View while selecting a codename or code while in standard mode.
  • Joker Code enabler. You can now assign specific codes to use a joker code, given that you know the Joker Code's hex address and you're in standard mode.
  • Added a hex calculator under the tools menu for the hexadecimally challenged
  • Some optimizations were made, few speed ups on switching modes when large database files are opened.
  • Some more bugs have been squashed.
  • Some minor cosmetic changes made. Most notably the main window should be a little bit smaller.
To Do List:
  • Create a readme and help file.
  • Add a joker enabler for the POPs mode.
Make sure to download Microsoft's .NET 2.0 Framework, which is needed to run Pasky's latest contribution to the community. Enjoy the download!

If ever you want to reach the 7th circle of cheating heaven, you better be following homebrew developer Pasky as he most certainly knows the way. And to prove that he is indeed the master cheater of all time - in a good way - he just improved his pet application CWCheat Database Editor to v1.40.

In case you are not familiar with this app, CWCheat Database Editor spares users the hassle of manually editing their CWCheat .db files. With this app, every cheat is just a click away. After all, it wouldn't be cheat heaven if it isn't as easy as that, right? Anyway, these are the new changes for v1.40:
  • CWcheat POPs Database Editor and CWcheat Standard Database Editor are now in one complete package! Simply switch between editing modes through the CONFIGURE menu.
  • PEC Database Converter now built into CWcheat Database Editor. It should no longer freeze in game when loading the converted database since the strings converted are no longer greater than 32 characters in length. The PEC Database Converter can be found under the TOOLS menu.
  • Minor bug fixes.
  • Cosmetic improvements.
Lastly, take note that you will be needing Microsoft .NET 2.0 Framework and a UMD with this app. Have fun!

Pasky's CWcheat database editor - Image 1

Last week, we gave you a load of Popstation and CWcheat tools for your PC all coded by the same developer, Pasky. Today, we are proud to present the first update to his arsenal of applications. Pasky's CWcheat Database editor has been made to keep you from manually editing your CWcheat .db file. It originally covers both PSP UMD and PSX (Popstation) games, too.

Now Pasky has updated the standard version for PSP UMD games, adding a lot of new features which you should find interesting. Here's the changelog:
  • Codes can now be enabled and disabled as default.
  • Enabled codes have a back color to differentiate them from disabled codes (Default color is gold).
  • Can change color of back color using the Configure tool bar.
  • Smaller footprint thanks to NetZ compression (http://madebits.com/netz/)
  • Minor bug fixes, cosmetic fixes and a few optimizations made.
  • Updated the About window.
All you need is a PSP, CWcheat, a UMD game and you are away into cheating heaven. You will need the Microsoft .NET framework (which you can get below) to run this application, but remember that if you need to convert different databases or want to use a database editor for PSX games, check out Pasky's previous releases here.
